Weilong GTS3M Review - How Does It Compare?

This may sound weird but I actually like the dry feeling actually for solving I never set up my GTS3M other than the compression system and tensioning and I've broken all of my 3x3 pbs (mo3, ao5, ao12, ao100, single, and OH single)

Pixydis I don't think the cube is that expensive, it's around what most magnetic flagships are these days in the $35-$50 range. I use CFOP like most people, though I do enjoy solving with Roux casually. The movements are just a bunch of PLL algorithms. In this video, if I remember correctly, it's just a combination of T perm, Jb perm, Y perm, and E perm. And then I do some sexy moves and inverse sexy moves. And then finish it off with Z perms to show M slice movements.

Oh, I looked online and the description of the cube said "56mm" so I assumed that was it without the ridges. Either way, it feels bigger than my SM.

I didn't notice the size difference but maybe because I have big hands, the ridges didn't feel like anything either

jonasba276 honestly, no. I keep going back and forth between the two and I'm starting to prefer my Huanglong again. We'll see. I prefer the Huanglong's smoothness and the plastic feels very high quality. But I like the performance of the GTS3 and the ridges. But ultimately it's up to you.

GTS3 M by a lot. I really don't like the 354M.

Red Cross Cuber heyyy someone who read the description! First I unscrewed the core pieces and put Traxxas 50k on the springs before putting them back in. Make sure you take note as to how it all goes together with the new tension system so you don't screw it up. The 50k on the springs will make it smooth and shut out any spring noise. I used the tensioning tools to tighten the centers until they didn't move anymore. So once you put the tension tools in, you can probably still wiggle the 2 centers that you're working on at the time. Tighten them until they no longer wiggle and then stop. Don't try to force anything. If they already don't wiggle when you slip in the tensioning tools, then loosen them until they do, and then re-tighten them until they don't so you can be sure they're all at the same place. After that, put the cube back together. I used a good amount of Traxxas 30k between the pieces themselves and on the feet of the little cubies. 50k will slow it down even more, but 30k was good enough for me. Once it was together and I worked that lube in, I used that new tensioning system to put it at #6. So I tightened each one until they only had 2 more little grooves to go before resetting. That was perfect for me. Awesome! Good to know! I'm planning to do the same with Weight 5 on the core and some on the pieces, but I would add 1 - 2 drops of DNM-37 to hopefully, make it smooth, stable and fast. Grace G. Snapping turtles are tight. Idk how you main the MGC, that thing tires my hands out after like an hour! And I KNOW!!! My Gan 354 review blew up, probably because it's a GAN puzzle and I got it earlier than most people. When I uploaded mine, the only review on it that existed was Dana Yi's.

The Slick Cuber when I first got the MGC it was a struggle but after cleaning it out and setting it up I haven't had any issues. I also have an extremely rough turning style so maybe that helps? Who knows lol And I'm so glad you are getting more subs!! You totally deserve it (and more)!!

It's a lot faster and snappier. The layers click into place, whereas the MF3RS2M kind of glides into place because it's a softer-feeling heavier cube.

That's not good man! WD-40 eats the plastic. It'll ruin it eventually!

DK Cuber just my phone! A Galaxy S8+. I have a microphone that I attach to it and I edit on Adobe Premiere to make it look pretty.

That's a tough one, I go back and forth between both of them. If I had to pick, I'd say GTS3M since it is my main right now. I do still solve with my Huanglong though.
