I’m not white, but I’m nerdy. I got every reference except the formula in the background. I looked it up. But that was the only one. You’d be surprised how many reactors were not familiar with most references. What makes you nerdy…you know most of the references, whether or not you’ve participated. The clincher? Monty Python! Be nerdy and proud!
Definitely "It's All About the Pentiums" and "Hardware Store". And as far as fame goes, his first radio hit was "My Bologna" and his first TV appearance was playing "Another One Rides The Bus". Also his song "Dare To Be Stupid" was in the 1984 Transformers movie.
"I will never give my wife a power strip" Uhh.... that's not suppose to be his wife. It's suppose to be his mother, hence the pop-pop getting freaky scene.
Weird Al gained some notariety from the mid 80s when he got his start with his parodies being featured on the Dr Demento radio show. 'Fat' and later 'Gangster's Paradise' we're the two that brought him even further into the mainstream consciousness.
Had to say, I'm older than both of you and those things that are nerdy in a good way nowadays used to be nerdy in a bad way back, say, in the 1980's. So it depends upon the time period when you judge these things. Superman comics would've been negative nerdy back when. But movies like Star Wars and Marvel Universe (with new entries relentlessly released for years and years) eventually made nerdiness cool. Not like that's the only thing that did it, but I thing it was a big part of it. Oh, now I think about it, the success of Microsoft and Apple didn't hurt, when people thought, hey, maybe being a nerd would be lucrative. Apparently one of you even participated in the trend. The Internet was also a big influence.
In high school I was jumped into a gang. Detroit in 76. I’m not white but Native American. You need to react to pentatonix bohemian rhapsody. And can’t hold us cover. I’m a nerd and love it. I built my gaming computer from scratch. You guys a funny and I know you will love this. Thank you I have subscribed and liked.
My son did not like Star Trek until he saw the JJ Abrams version from 2009. After that, he became a bigger fan than me! I still have not seen all of the episodes, but HE has! (even the animated series!) So, therefore, a warning to you. DO NOT watch the 2009 JJ Abrams version of Star Trek or else you too may be doomed! LOL!!
Dudes. Five minutes before you start reacting, and you stop within 2 seconds of it starting and then another 2'05" before you start again. This isn't fun to watch. it's painful
