With this piece, Bach helps bring out the best in organists. When played well, as it is here, the Dorian is rocking - literal head banging from Adler.

I have had the pleasure of hearing this organ live on multiple occasions, it's rather breath taking, this interpretation is beautiful

Ottima tecnica e pulizia generale, ma.. più lentamente per carità! Se è vero che lo stile è quello del concerto grosso vivaldiano, immaginiamo le facce stravolte degli esecutori dopo una simile galoppata.. Comunque brava!

Wonderful playing Ilona!! You really MASTER the piece!. Since you want to (and have to;) record the fugue … can I ask you to record it again just A BIT slower (and if possible…though this may be my mobile… with the pedal louder, bigger), please? And then you choose which version you like the most!:) I think just a bit slower will let the natural resonance of the tubes sound fully , it’s just a bit… but will expand the very true majesty of the piece to its utmost!
