Let's explore some very vibey places in Assassin's creed while I run around and tell you what I love about these places. AC really has created some o f the most immersive, beautiful locations and there are so many that not all of them will get attention. So I picked three locations from three different games that I wanted to shout out a little bit more. Enjoy!

I’m kinda surprised by this video. I feel like usually the ac community always touches on the same topics over and over, and almost all the opinions I’ve seen are very obvious and common sense. I actually think I’ve never seen people dive really deep into these fascinating topics such as art direction, historical places that no one talks about, how the gameplay portraying the way you feel in these locations, such as the mountains you cannot access in Ac 1… Really enjoyed that one

Scaling the pyramids in origins doesn’t just give you a nice view, it also captures the feeling of adventure and history (similar to black flag in many ways) But for me the white cliffs of Dover in Valhalla (especially at sunset/sunrise) purely for a view, is incredible. Also arriving in Havana and Boston for the first time makes you feel so immersed, Havana captures that rogue pirate feel, and with Boston, you just feel the history with every step. Still love the content bro your admiration for the franchise is infectious.

The video was immersive by itself and very enjoyable to watch. It makes me remember my younger days playing games like the Thief 1 demo. I remember how I explored every nook and cranny of the Bafford Manor with maddened fervor, imagining what lies beyond the walls of the house and being positively surprised when I actually found out and stepped out of the gameworld into soundless, black voids....🤭 Although a few years later I got the full game and obviously enjoyed it, many of the memories that I have of that game was with the demo, and the feeling of wonderment and promising exploration it offered. You could make another video like this. Maybe one in which you talk about a location in each of the Kenway games, and another focused around the Ezio Trilogy, although I have the suspicion you could make an entire video talking about Rome alone.😁

Fun fact, the locations in ac are so well detailed and historically accurate that when the Notre Dame cathedral in France burned down, ac unity’s model of it was actually a main point of reference when rebuilding it

Great video, underrated topic. Certain areas in the Assassins Creed games don’t get the recognition they deserve for how cool they are and the attention to detail. If I had to think of one it would be the homestead from Assassin‘s Creed Rogue, it’s cool to see it in its prime used as a training ground and base for assassins and also kinda sad knowing what happens in the story, I would’ve loved the added feature to visit the homestead after finishing the game just to walk around the deserted area with Achilles cooped up in his mansion.

Venice and Constaniopli in ACII and revelation still has this almost insane effect on me it's beauty and atmosphere somehow it perfectly matches what I imagine of the places historically. Venice large number of consruction makes sense due the large amount of artistic work done at the time it's insane. It'ds like ubisoft location creation in most franchises is grea but it always falls apart in other areas.

Personally, the place that sparks my imagination is quite simple: it's the Café Théâtre in Assassin's Creed Unity (fully upgraded). I enjoy walking around, watching a play, wandering through every corridor as if I were an assassin without a mission. I particularly love Arno's room, where you can follow the various letters Elise sends him throughout the adventure, imagining all the melancholy Arno must feel. I also like the treasure room and, above all, all the passages leading to the Assassin's Bureau. These beautifully designed underground areas where we had our initiation; it's where I gather my supplies before heading out on a mission. In general, I greatly enjoy wandering around the Assassin's Bureaus in the Assassin's Creed games, as they add to the immersion. The Bastille is also an interesting place to visit, especially when you've researched the incarceration that happened there! A second video with more ideas would be amazing!

the tomb of Alexander is one of my favorite places in Origins as well, and it's actually my desktop background :) after gaining access to it in the game, I went back several times to just walk and look around. I've went back to many locations to do the same, and this ties to my apprehension to let this game and it's story end. It is by far my fav game and protagonist in the franchise. that said, I've had favorite locations in probably all AC games, and I like the other two you've mentioned as well. I took your advice of giving AC1 a chance, and am currently playing it.

I remember, there was this one village in AC Odyssey called Lalaia. It’s such a beautiful, peaceful place and every time I wanted to take a break from the main story or just wanted to exist in this world I would go there and just walk the streets and take in the scenery. It almost felt like it was a place I could call an in-game-home for the ~250h I spent in the game. (At one point I even googled the real world place, because if I were to go to Greece at one point, I wanted to visit actual Lalaia ^^) Very nice video, resonated a lot with me! This video is VERY similar to Any Austin's video "unremarkable and odd places in assassin's creed" that he posted a couple months ago. Austin even includes the garden area in masayaf in his video and it's structured and presented in the same way i.e talking about 3 locations, while walking around with no music or hud, and having title cards before talking about each location with a very similar font to the one he uses. this is a way that Spaniard has never done a video in before (as he admits). If i had to guess, Spaniard saw that video and thought he could do the same thing but with a couple extra locations from other AC games. Im not saying Spaniard plagiarised Austin, but it would've been nice if he'd atleast done the courtesy of mentioning the video and channel that quite clearly inspired this one. If you liked this video, definitely check out Austin's one, it has this kind of eerie and mysterious kind of tone that i really love. Edit: After i wrote this i realised that "Weird and wonderful places in assassin's creed :)" Sounds alot like "Unremarkable and odd places in assassin's creed" The man even put a smiley face, he ain't even trying to hide it.

Assassins Creed 1. I am elated that Assassins Creed One is getting a graphical remake.(I hope) They should just work on the graphics and add more medieval arming sword options, I would love to use a beautiful Crusader arming sword as Altair. I don't care one bit about the story outside of history/the animus, I just want the historical content. My top ACs are Origins,2,Brotherhood and Unity. Revelations setting of Constantinople was superb, but the half arsed npc design ( copy and paste potato face) really placed that game on the back burner for me. (Revelations Desmond looked like such a doofus.) But without a shadow of a doubt my favoutire Assassin's Creed of all time still remains Assassins Creed one. The setting of the Levant is such a climax in our world's history, the numerous cultures and world views that all convened ,coexisted and cooperated at this crossroads were immense. Medieval, in cities that are policed by soldiers , guards and police forces , shows exactly why stealth and assassins were a reality/necessity. Those settings are superb. With iconic cities such as Arce,Demascus and the center of the world Jerusalem , the world in which you find yourself is so rich in history, culture and importance, filled with peoples and packed, lively streets. In a medieval setting using European arming swords, ME shamsiers , short sword, throwing knives and your iconic hidden blade , makes the close quarters melee combat the best there ever was. I adored the melee combat in these older AC games, such beautiful, complex, flowing moves that were so elegant and deadly and AC 1 still has the best / most beautiful melee movesets of all the games. You start with just your hidden blade, then slowly as you develop your skills and rank up you gain access to more and more weapons until you are armed with some of the most elegant and deadly weapons of the middle ages. You only use a one handed weapon, thus only a single handed or double handed weapon, no Sword+dagger or sword + shield or two sword combo and that is melee perfection to me. An arming sword in the hand and nothing in the other. In the remake If they added some moves that included damaging the enemy with your hidden blade whilst in a melee duel using your sword, like when you fight janissaries in AC Revelations then it will be pure melee perfection. The stealth in AC 1 is brilliant, I love that you walk around like a praying monk in robes to blend into the city, even when crowds are unavailable, but if you walk as a praying monk, alone into a restricted area, the guards will still chase you away and become suspicious. It is so good. In Unity you use a corner to remain out of sight, assassinating an enemy around a corner you kill the target and you neatly place the body against the wall you were hiding against also out of sight. I REALLY hope this will be present in AC 1s remake. Altair is by far the most intriguing and capable Assassin to me , he is strong, calculating, mysterious and in my opinion the most skilled assassin thus far. You sit on benches to blend into the crowd, or you join a group of monks in prayer allowing you to vanish from your pursuers. The way the factions in the game are depicted is good, Unlike the propaganda of the repulsive woke cult of today , they don’t portray the Christian Crusaders as the villains. Although they did portray the Crusader held territories as cold, bleak, dilapidated and run down where the Muslim areas are vibrant and more appealing which I do not agree with. Especially the Hospitallar quarters which in reality were some of the cleanest and most clinical areas in the entire Levant since they specialised in surgery and the healing and recuperation of all injured / sickly people , be it wounded crusader knights or Muslim/Christian/Jewish villagers sharing the same cities. The Crusaders specialised in the construction of wells and water ways / aqueducts that facilitated the flow of fresh , clean water into controlled cities and waste water out of these cities. (Although I can’t recall if Acre was under siege at the time in game, if that is the case, that could explain the city's dilapidated state.) But be that as it may, you still fight against the Crusaders as well as the invasive Muslims. At the end they show that the enemy is not the Templar Knights , but instead the corrupt ,evil leaders on both sides of the conflict. I love that they correctly show that both factions have evil and corrupt figure heads that you have to assassinate and in turn both factions have good honorable leaders that bring so much good to the world such as King Richard the Lionheart and Saladin. The toughest enemies to fight are the Great helm wearing Templar Knights and rightly so. These special forces of their time were a force to be reckoned with and even when you use all your combat skill and tricks… you still get a proper run for your money when challenging a Templar Knight to a duel. I don't want open world, I don't want guns and I loathe MYTHOLOGICAL / MAGICAL shit looking at you AC Viking hype train. Keep it 100% Historical. I loved that AC1 gave tiny hints about God Three in One's existence/presence but that was never the focus. I want an AC with the depth and realism similar to Red dead Redemption but in a Medieval/Ancient setting. I can’t stress how much I love AC one and I can’t wait to play it again when the remake comes out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MwI3TClqhOs.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-a2wlfzXhf38.html

Assassins Creed Origins The Setting of Ptolemaic Egypt is superb, the entire region is filled with immense beauty, the setting pulls you in and saturates your brain in another time,in another world. The setting is so beautiful that you wish not to ride atop your cherished camel ,instead you constantly want to walk the sand covered streets, the agricultural fields of the Bread Basket,in the blissfully idyllic oasis and in the spectacular landscapes of the Egyptian desert. The wildlife is accurate, engaging and adds an adventurous aspect to the game, like wrestling a Nile crocodile or running away from a charging hippopotamus, it feels so natural and makes you love Egypt even more. You have a pet falcon that aids in scouting and in combat, the most perfect friend a man can ask for. I love my little Horus. The weapons, the outfits/armours are numerous and good. Although the combat is terrible. I despise health bars and any repulsive damage numbers. The level icons above the enemy means either you can just button mash to kill lower level enemies or if the level is x1 level above yours, they enemies are damage sponges that one hit you . Not nearly as good as the older games, it is clunky, with ill fitting button allocations , it relies too much on button mashing and ‘’adrenaline power ups’’ instead of well timed counters and beautiful/elegant counter/take down moves. For the Copesh … the most iconic Egyptian sword...there are only 2 KILL MOVES… Whilst fighting unarmed , you can’t disarm an enemy , here too it is just button mashing and ‘’adrenaline power ups’’..to do faster button mashing…. It is frightening to me how AC1s combat is far superior to a game created more than a decade later. You play the entire games Byek but of course it is the femiazi that assassinated Julius Caesar, have to show how a woman kills the most powerful man on the planet. FUCK the woke femiazi cult Assassinating an enemy around a corner is not as good as in Unity, in Unity you kill the target and you neatly place the body against the wall you were hiding against. Here you don’t hide as much as crouch awkwardly against a wall trying to face the correct direction when the enemy passes, then once you assassinate him..the body just drops to the floor right there for all to see, then you have to move over the body, pick it up and carry it 2 feet around the corner and flop it down on the floor. Why did Unities dev team do such a better job than this team? Unfortunately there is no social stealth….you can only hide in bushes, hay or some sparsely placed closets. No blending into/hiding in crowds, on benches, or working with clerical factions to hide in plain sight. They really missed the ball on this one. The characters are most engaging, Baek is a brilliant protagonist, a Madjey returning home after a long expedition ,finding his home under occupation and tracking down those in power with ill repute and working on creating a regime change. The way you lose your ring finger in game is epic. You can disable the idiotic damage numbers which greatly increases immersion. You can read scattered papyri that tells you so much of this fabled land,of its peoples and its culture, then you get to delve into ancient (even for that time) crypts ,exploring the ancient tombs of Pharaohs a millenia older than Cleopatra herself, that leaves you itching with excitement to see what adventurous treasures lies around the next corner. This game is a visual piece of art, bringing the past to life. Although it is not perfect ,It is really good. 8/10 due to the mediocre combat, the feminazi BS and lack of social stealth..

@@TheSpaniardAssassinNot quite, yes it is based off a weak Hadith but the actual is getting to paradise which you are married to wives known as the Hoor Al Ayn. The number is not quite known but you will have whatever you wish for beyond comprehension in this world. The Hashims used this fact and as you described gave themselves power which is shirk. As only Allah has the ability to send you to paradise or hell. They used probably gullible and unknowable young men to make their own religion from Islam.
