I love Altair's quote about religion, and i consider myself fairly religious. Ive been going to church since i was a child, i help out at my church and i love the people there. I have struggled in my faith, im still young and while i believe in the bible i havent had the desire to read it or fully devote myself to god. And Altair fully denounces religion, "it is the greatest lie" and since ive been raised with the church i wonder if maybe im apart of "the lie", i never had the chance to find god because i was always aware of him. But i know someday i will fully appreciate my religion, even if right now it isn't as big if a factor in ny life. Meanwhile i will do good and do as I believe, looking to others and my faith for guidance but never letting an institution control me.

Say what you want but Odyssey is a fantastic game. Sure there might be a little bloat here and there, but it’s a fantastic game if you don’t look at it as a traditional AC game

If we are talking about the hardest it has to be ac1 at that time the parkour mechanics werent really fast nor where there any smoke bombs to escape with you need to be very skilled to ghost in a game like that

Gonna be honest. The first AC game I ever played was AC1, but it was around when Syndicate - Origins would came out, so around 2015-2017. I haven't seen much of gameplay, or story. I went in blind and thought it would be best to start with the first game of the series. And honestly? The going in and out of simulation was the most annoying, stupid and unnecessary thing that there was. It annoyed me so much and destroyed the dynamics for me especially at the start, like really bad cliff hangers at the end of every episode. So I couldn't care less for the modern time bullshit.

This right here is what I like most about ac1. The capital A Assassins are based on the soldiers of a real nation based in castles spread throughout the Levant. These soldiers were almost always spotted after hitting their mark, so they only had one shot to kill one man. They did hide in plain sight and stay their blades until the time was right when they would use a dagger or poisoned arrow to kill a powerful figure. It’s a damn shame that Assassins creed today has strayed so far from that historical accuracy.

One thing I like about AC is the fact most of the main characters grew and learnt. I honestly didn't like rogue but still played it... the Level up in later AC games suck dogballs.. I just love the challenge. I Just finished Playing Mirage and enjoyed it because it almost went back to basics of AC 1.

Thing is most of the assassins you play as have had a life changing trauma. Bayek and Aya and son murdered by political big wigs then betrayed. Altaïr was raised around assassins, Ezio family was executed. Connor’s tribe and mother was murdered and his father was a part of the organization that did it. Edward’s family land was burned forced to become a pirate almost died doing that. Arno father was killed by a Templar. Humanity asa whole is insane non more than those who think they are sane.

You give Valhalla far, far too much credit. It has the worst story, the worst protagonist, the worst villain, the worst world, the twist was horrible, and the modern day sections just made it all worse.

I did ghosting when I was younger but without realizing I was doing it. Pllinter cell and other such games of that time. I now no longer try very much. Too much effort and stress for zero reward. I was doing forth in Origins, I clear every enemy without being seen. I finally go for the Commander asassassination and it doesn't kill him. I got so mad I raged kill all the enemies on 3 attempts, and finally kill the health sponge commander. I think Origins is one the top 10 games ever made. But ghosting is fucking annoying when the devs don't respect your efforts to be stealthy. Sorry for the grammar. I suck at doing grammar.

I Agree with most of the things you said but i highly disagree AC Mirage being a great game. AC Mirage is trash, it is better than valhalla and odessey but still bad, it is nowhere near ac origins and the OG ac games.

Been playing assassin's creed Odyssey as a assassin and the i was at olympos and saw a cult of cosmos member and decided to ghost him and try to assassinate him but due to the Olympic truce it is very risky because commiting a crime gets you a max mercenary bounty and it took me 20 minutes to find a place to assassinate him without anyone knowing it was intense and satisfying

Assassin's Creed valhalla got me into Assassin's Creed, over 3 years ago, but I didn't even give the chance to other games until last summer, firat unity, then syndicate, then blackflag, I also tried 1, 2 and 3, but I gave up on them and I didn't even try brotherhood or revelations despite buying them, and only a few weeks ago I decided that I'll play through every game no matter what and 2 and brotherhood are now one of my favorite games in the series and in general. Guess the difference between me and the odyssey guy is that I just turned 17 and of course the game difference

I have been a diehard fan of AC since the first game. I was 17 when AC1 released and the franchise developed as I grew into a man. I always tried to play as stealthily as possible, killing every enemy in the room and get out undetected. My version of the Creed was slow and methodical, but with time and as games went on my style didn't change and that turned into a stale playstyle that made me abandon the franchise. I skipped most of the American saga, abandoned Unity and Syndicate halfway and never clicked with the RPG saga. I thought it was over for me until I watched this video of yours and the one on Arno as a character. Suddenly it all made sense and I played some of the old games again, this time going out of my comfort zone (which had gone stale) and started "roleplaying" as my character. Suddenly everything clicked again and I felt really happy about being able to enjoy this franchise again. I will surely try again with the newer games like Unity, Syndicate and Mirage with this new mindset, and for that I have to thank you and these videos. Gracias y un saludo de parte de otro español.

When playing black flag, i use the officer's outfit in british teritiory, and the merchant outfit in spanish territory, because i believe it would make me harder to detect, so therefore it increases imersion

I just finished Unity creating my own canon, and I had a good time it was much more fun than I expected, now I will try Mirage in PermaDeath, as for Ghosting if you like stealth games or AC is something that if or if you must try once in life I did it in Syndicate and now after Mirage I will return to AC 4 to try it, Other games I recommend for Ghosting although they are not AC are Metal Gear 5, Ghost Recon and of course one that you mentioned in the video and is one of my favorites Dishonored.

Guns could work but it just sounds boring. If you had a modern sniper rifle that’s all you would need and Assassins Creed would just turn into sniper elite. I don’t see how a narrative would mix well with that. But I’d love to be proved wrong.

I do agree. However, I purpose that sometimes the Assassins had to take out a guard or two. Say Altair took out a few guards when saving people, Ezio took out a few breaking into the Vatican, Etc. Now did these members go on massive killing sprees? No, they did not. Canonically that is. Anyways, great video! Been a fan of the series for a few years now. Might try a full canonical run with the Ezio series.

Personally, the place that sparks my imagination is quite simple: it's the Café Théâtre in Assassin's Creed Unity (fully upgraded). I enjoy walking around, watching a play, wandering through every corridor as if I were an assassin without a mission. I particularly love Arno's room, where you can follow the various letters Elise sends him throughout the adventure, imagining all the melancholy Arno must feel. I also like the treasure room and, above all, all the passages leading to the Assassin's Bureau. These beautifully designed underground areas where we had our initiation; it's where I gather my supplies before heading out on a mission. In general, I greatly enjoy wandering around the Assassin's Bureaus in the Assassin's Creed games, as they add to the immersion. The Bastille is also an interesting place to visit, especially when you've researched the incarceration that happened there! A second video with more ideas would be amazing!

did i just see a black samurai? omg , why must ubisoft rewrite history all the fucking time no outsider no matter if black white or even chinese was allowed to step foot on the islands of japan for most of its history they would have immediately been sold into slavery or be straight up killed on the beach they washed up not to forget that at the point this plays no one even knew of japan, OR china so for a black man to wash up is impossible

the roaming bosses had already kinda been a thing in ac1 you could find like 50 templar knights all over the map which were the hardest enemies to fight i used to allways stretch out the fight and make it cinematic as they were so rare

those deer at about 25 seconds really reminded me why i quit ac as a whole a long time ago assassins creed 3 came out in 2012 or so and had much much much better animal ai than that , they looked better and they acted realisticly i mean com on, those deer are super huge and they run about 3 meters before they all get stuck on a rock thats not worth 90 bucks

My dream is a modern day AC, to me the series was never the same after AC3. Desmond and his story were the overarching story of AC and I miss that. It made it special.

I still think the Assassins are still on the right side in terms of ideology. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. You can grant that a morally pure group of people could have all the control and ensure peace through forced order. But as soon as time passes and new people begin to wield that power, anything can happen and then you're fighting a losing battle if you can fight at all. I think liberty and free will is absolutely always worth the drawbacks. And I agree that the idea of a utopia is unattainable. But does that mean we should go the opposite direction intentionally? But anyway, that's just my take. Great video!

This is the best way to play these games, the trailer of shadows involved non-lethal takedowns and use of shadows which gives me hope, hopefully we can play the game like a proper assassin this time with an actual member of the order instead of some random mercenary or Viking.

The RPGs are overhated. The OG AC fans wanted something new then cried the something new wasn't good for them. The only one that indeed sucks is valhalla for various reasons. Origins and Odyssey are just fine. Been here since the start and Odyssey is my favorite still

I think it's really depends on the character: Altair - definitly ghost Ezio - I don't think he was ghosting in II and Brotherhood, but for sure in Revelations Connor - I don't think he was ghosting Edward - I feel like he was start ghosting at the end of a game Arno - Definitly ghost Evie - ghost Jacob - he propably sometimes trying to ghost, but he suck at it (just my head canon) Bayek - he propably start ghosting after the betray of Cleopatra and Cesar Basim - ghost Cassandra and Eivor are not even asssasins nor Hidden Ones But all of that is just my opinion/headcanon.
