Ugh tell me about it. Watching these videos my thoughts generally are "my stuff's way better than this !" Or "oh god what if this IS what i sound like !".
@@noelwhite6650 Either way your sound is unique, it's just finding out what part of it you wanna lean into. As a long time musician and multi-instrumentalist that is mostly self taught and is trying to learn to read music for piano and guitar about a decade too late I'd say just embrace your own sound and figure out what you're actually good at. If you're having fun making music and it sounds good to you then unless it's objectively terrible, most people aren't gonna notice a dropped note here and there or whatever. No one ever really noticed when I messed up while soloing on lead guitar in live situations. Learning to roll with mistakes is important and sometimes those mistakes turn into things you want to keep or learn more about as you develop your own sound. Don't over-analyze your work, have fun and find like minded people that are positive creative influences. You got this.
Yeah I'm working with recording and performing with several different groups in different genres and all these people want to create, release, and perform musical content but how do you do so without ending up in a cringe compilation video when everyone you work with is over 40? It's rough out there...just have to remember that the only one you can blame for not doing what you want to do in life is yourself and making $100 off a gig is financially much better than 50k streams online
"I got your gf drunk" dude's energy is absolutely demonic. Easily the weird dude I'd least want to be stuck at a function with. Incidentally 4:34 has some potential.

@@quentinbringthenumetalchil5125Just looked it up and the “group” is Black Out. Believe the result of one of those Rebecca Black-type services where parents can pay someone to write a song and shoot a music video of their kid singing it
I'm really bummed I can't remember who 2:29 is. I've watched every single video on his youtube channel before, the man is legit schizophrenic and just makes audio nightmares
@@BingbongDeNiro someone in the comments mentioned he threatened to blow up a casino in their area. After Googling, I've learned that threatening to blow up casinos isn't as rare as I expected it to be 😆
Jesus gawd. As a dude who’s written some real bangers in a spiral notebook and then rediscovered them years later and to much dismay, the dude at 0:12 just uncringed every shit thing I’ve ever written with those two lines.
@@cvajzHis name is R.A.E.D. or something like that I remember him from a while ago when old commentary channels used to make videos about him and his shitty music.
can we all just take a moment to appreciate that someone scrubbed the bowels of the interwebs to accumulate all of this and then compiled it for our viewing pleasure. thank you kind sir or madam or whatever
This content has helped me through a most difficult and dark period of life. Sounds silly perhaps, but earnestness in such potent forms- is a beautiful thing to witness. These are folks putting it all out there, for better or worse! Mostly worse. But hot dog, I cannot help but respect these folks... Outside of the "I Got Your Girlfriend Drunk" artist. That song is dubious at the very least.
@@soulbrother5435 Nah you’re just one of those weird peta/vegan/animal “liberation” freaks. To normal sane minded people a dog race isn’t abuse, a dog fight is though.
2:33 is some sorta live acoustic of Hed PE's Cum B**** Cum song. An interesting choice for a band that had 1 or 2 good songs back in the day, but apparently also did this. 😂
The frame at 1:52 is the face of a literal demon. Easily the most dangerous man in this video, even more so than the “I got your girlfriend drunk” dude. I would bet my life this man ends up serving life in prison for something horrendous.
These are the kinds of people who can’t WAIT to tell you every single weird lyric of their song while you’re just out somewhere trying to order a drink.
@@joexkid9059First guys track is pretty solid. Can't talk shit about it at all, I've gone and listened to it, it's kind of generic, but well produced and kind of catchy.
Went and looked up the rest of the song from 3:21 and it's actually a really compelling song with a killer chorus, plus the video is pretty unique. Really liked it
There's something weirdly unsettling about that sleazy dude singing "I've got your girlfriend druuuuuuuunk" and then showing a completely passed-out woman next to him. What's your endgame there, mate?
Oh, I know it's not easy. There's probably a lot of these videos out there. I'm sure the hardest part is sifting through them all and editing them. They do a phenomenal job putting it all together.
@@dignan40 I sent them one once. He did feature it in his stories. It’s a video that’s always been so funny to me and my friends from a band that I played one show in like 2006. The story is so nuts, but the video alone is ridiculous too
