Adam, Been watching since the start of the original channel. Somewhere around the middle of the 5+ years on the daily I got my father hooked. said it was better than anything he watched on TV, we would chat about the last few days each time we talked. Mid 2020 he had a third bout in 13 years with a cancer and was gone three months later. I stopped my regular viewing around that time, only catching an occasional episode. Over Christmas mom mentioned how much he loved it, so I decided to go back and catch up. Jan 2nd I started with 7-17-2020, work breaks, lunch, working out and other streaming time. Well today I finally caught up to the present. 908 Woo episodes. Don't ever stop the road trips with your parents. What I'd give to go to one more Phillies game with Dad. Keep up the amazing work.
I was based in San Diego for close to 11 years and I thought I was going to hate off base life, but I absolutely loved San Diego. My young family grew in that place and now 2 of my 3 kids have recently moved back (1 for college and 1 because she loves the vibe) Great video Adam.
Ironically I had just clicked an article of “20 Best Restaurants in San Diego” this morning and Las Cuatro was ranked #1. That’s fantastic you went! Raised in San Diego and happy to see you enjoying your time!! 😊
Fun vlog. After what you saw at the top of the Witches tower I am thinking that the guy that ran up to the top of the tower was going up there to relieve himself! LOL!
We used to love going to San Diego area when I lived in Southern California; in fact my wife and I spent our last anniversary together there in 2017 (she passed the next year). Need to go back again! Wow that Mexican place...would love to go there.
You are in my town! I would have given you a great tour. La Jolla Cove, The Light-house, Balboa Park, The World Famous San Diego Zoo. I had to mention these because they are the crown jewels of the area. The Mexican food place was rad, the walk about the town was cool. The Witches tower?!!!!! Well, at least with this portion of the video, you helped keep the tourists away!!!!! 🤣😂 There are lots of great places, in San Diego, and Julian is so close too! A great little old town. If you go, don't ask your phone for directions, it gives a long and wrong version. There is a road, that's a straight shot. Ask your friend, he'll know. I'll see you at SDSeaWorld's Howl-O-Scream, I should be scare-actor again this year!
Found Adam's channel when I was looking up the Day the music died and up pops the Woo. Adam also got me partially through the pandemic and I watch daily and other than him being a Rays fan, I live vicariously through him. Love Adam's passion about his vlogs as well, genuine and does things not a lot of others do.
Nice to see the sights of San Diego! I visited on business many years ago, but due to working nearly around the clock, I didn't get to see any of it! 🙂
That was such a fun video! That park and how they moved the tomb stones I’ve never knew about this place. that’s crazy. And that restaurant you went to the best places are little hole in the walls. That food looked amazing. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
Hey Adam, great vlog as always. I'm a San Diego native. Born here in '61 and except for living two years in Hollywood, I too was in the music business, I've lived here all my life. I would like to see you do more vlogs from my hometown. By the way, at 6:11 That's a photo of Horton Plaza, (probably late nineteenth/early twentieth century} or what would become Horton Plaza, which was part of what at the time was considered New Town, or what is now Downtown San Diego. Alonzo Horton was considered one of our modern San Diego founders.
I haven't finished the vlog yet but Wahoo Woo, San Diego! I live here and do a lot of these things. Have not eaten on Logan but that is on my to do list. Staying away from the tower. 😂 I was married up there at the Presidio but a place you didn't show. There is another park south of the big building. The cemetery/park. My husband said he remembers stories of finding headstones just tossed into the canyon. Maybe 'Poltergeist' made the park happen? 🤔 STP is from S.D. They had another name for a while. Eddie Bedder & Matt Cameron (Pearl Jam/Soundgarden) from S.D., too. Wow, I can't wait to see what you do!! I am doing a staycation summer so ideas are great.
Well I guess you could say this Vlog was one for the books I was just going to mention something about the jacaranda trees. But then you showed the taco place that has been there more than 70 plus years that was pretty cool putting that on my bucket list next time I go to San Diego. I've been away from California for so long I couldn't remember when the jacarandas would Bloom out because of the smell of a jacaranda tree that reminds me of home unfortunately they do not have jacarandas in Michigan.
Welcome to America's Finest City. You gotta drive down to Chula Vista and eat at Tacos El Gordo. Lots to do and see here in SD. More to see, not only downtown. There's Coronado, La Jolla, PB, OB, The Whaley House in Old Town. Lots of good Mexican food in the South Bay. Go into a Mexican market like Northgate at try some snacks. Lots of Mexican candy to try. Have fun in The Big SD.
@NadaSurferTube Hermanos tacos on Palomar and Broadway in Chula Vista? If so, it's amazing. Used to be our stop after Tj. Rolled Tacos at Los Taquitos on Third Ave, are the best.
We did the old town trolley ghost Tours. The park you were in at the end of your video. Yes, those are the tombstone’s but what you didn’t know is the only move the tombstones to one side. The bodies are still all over the park. At first I was upset by this but the gentleman that was leading the tour explained that if you think about it there’s happiness around the park they have little music concerts. Kids are playing and it’s very peaceful. I don’t know what your take is on it, but I just thought I’d give you that little tidbit of information.
Adam, really enjoyed your awesome video! Your food looked so good! Bogey Depot and Fort Washita moved the headstones from the graves and left the bodies. Looking forward to your next awesome vlog!
Awe! You went to Pioneer Park at the end !! I used to take my beloved pup there every afternoon to play with the other neighborhood dogs! There’s depressions in the ground throughout the park where graves are and the ground is starting to settle… they removed the markers and rumored that they tossed most of the headstones down that hill towards the road below.. pretty sad.
Adam - I infected my 86 yr old mom with your channel last year. Now we talk about what Adam is doing every day. She says it is much better than TV. Yay. BTW - you are looking very great there, sir. Your health program is visibly working. GOOD for you. I HAVE to get off my butt....
I don’t know why, but the sentence where Adam says “turds” is so funny. We all laughed. And then when he says “thanks for me bringing me here”. Amazing
Only been to SD twice, but you’re making me nostalgic! I had brunch with my friends at this hotel, and it was incredible! One of my friends is from SD! I finally met him IRL last year, and he showed me and my friends some cool spots! I’ll definitely have to eat at more Mexican places when I come back!
Hi Adam, internment means imprisoned ..... Interred: buried And this should be interment. Taught to me by my boss when I was office management in funeral home~ Have a sweet day.
I went to Las Cuatro Milpas before I finished watching your video segment at the restaurant. I was in line telling my hubby that you ate there and I saw your sticker! Very Cool!
The bums back up to the wall and take a dump. In buildings two blocks over from Gaslamp district, they had to put sprinklers on top of the building that sprayed down to prevent this action. I'm glad you didn't show too much of the homeless problems in SD. It is real bad there.
This brings back memories. The building across the front doors of the Horton Grand was a factory my mom owned, before the HG was relocated. Before the THG was relocated, the lot was a used tire stockyard. The corner diagonally from THG had a diner. THG was originally located where Horton Plaza is, facing south I believe. Back in the day during my mom’s factory days may be interesting to anyone who has an interest with the Ocean Pacific, surf clothing brand. Mom’s factory, on fourth and island, is where the first line of swimming trunks for OP were mass produced for retail. Also, garment production included bugs bunny plush dolls for Mattel, and Sambo’s restaurant waitress uniforms. The brown ones. If you are into garment history, if there’s such a thing, there’s a bit of GH for ya.
If you want the best fish taco in San Diego there is a little spot in OB at the end of the main street. Don't remember the name (South Beach Bar and Grill?). Old Town is super sweet too. And Thank You for taking time to say hi to the animals always. ♥
Love that town it is fabulous and the weather is so nice. We stayed across from petco field at the Hilton Bayfront in a corner room. was sensational. My husband really enjoyed seeing the big yellow Dole banana boat come in and offload it. It was there 2 nights, then gone again. I do want to go back, but the poo poo witchy poo house I am staying far far way, I am a RN and I have cleaned up a lot poo but that nope, nadda , not! Lol. That Mexican food looked really good, those hole in the wall plac3s are the Best. Keep up the great work adam

There are three high rises in downtown that I’ve heard called the Toolkit. One (Hilton?) looks like a flat-blade screwdriver, one nearby looks like a Phillips head, and the third looks like socket wrenches.
HEY,.. ADAM & DANNY... YA, man you guy's got a Boat load of Mexican food for like 25 bucks what a great deal And It look Deelishis yummy Well thanks for showing me around San Diego Ca because I'll never get to go there or CA at all I've only done the East Coast of the US From Maine, Vermont to almost into Florida did Georgia and all in between well OK Guy's thanks take care stay safe and see ya in the next video
i have been watching your channel for awhile now an i think honestly this is the best authentic food , that you shared to all us viewers . It looks like real delicious food plus .. that is a reasonable price for the l food. i 🤔 it got a little strange at the witch Tower for sure 😁😊i would be glad i ate before seeing the dung . it would of turned my appetite off
I live in Chula Vista, and the old cemetery that you visited has been around since the early days of the 1600s when the Protestants and Catholics were buried there. The history on the Tombstones where? When Back in the 50s, some kids got drunk and wrecked the cemetery. And that's why the tombstone were removed from their place and where you see them now. And when I visited it a few years ago, it is called now Pioneer Park. One of the oldest cemeteries in San Diego.
The Presidio AKA Cosoy. The birthplace of "California". There is an unmarked cemetery there, as well as the original Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcala which is buried under the grass there.
WHAT THE HECK?! 😱 THEY MOVED *MORE* HEADSTONES?! Kinda glad we didn't find the Witch Tower. (I built it up as something interesting in my head also, not an open air rest room 😝)
