That is really bizarre, but it gives interesting insight on how home run animations are determined in the code. Those added barrier walls in the Mario Kart stadium really seem to screw with the programming.

I've assumed that it's because of the height of the walls. For example, on Bowser Jr. Playroom, I've gotten a lot of animations that weren't close to being out and i came to the conclusion that the height of the walls near the thwomps was the reason it happend

boomerang bro isn't even that powerful so that seems impossible...daisy cruiser could have some jank but even with power characters I haven't ever gotten a star swing dinger animation
