Actually, its a choice how you wish to respond. Albeit, easier said than done. But i do practice this. When someone says something, when you have a negative response (like irk, or irritation) it means you received it a bad way. Sure direct insults you just have to get numb to it, treat them as trolls. But those that seem to suggest something, i always say to myself "is there something i can improve" or "is there truth to this". Just because you dont like a comment and then building a wall is understandable, its a defense mechanism. But you dont grow as a person. Because you dont take feedback well. Example : the comment about not dating and concentrating on your career Is not about owning you. Or if the public thinks they know better. (sometimes they do: i mean if you dont want to be top in your industry then sure you can date and have a "balance life" But if you want to really be the best and the top then dating is just another distraction. the comment was a wise comment. Whether you like it or sits well with you doesnt make it a bad one. Just because you dont want to listen or consider if there is wisdom to that, doesnt make that a bad comment/feedback.) Example 2: You should have black hair. This comment is harmless, it is just their preference of you. I'll take it as, oh ok this person likes me more with black hair. Be happy that people want to be "part" of your life. It is what makes you popular. The fan fare. If nobody cares about how you look, or have a preference of how you look, then guess what, they dont give a shit, which means you arent important. Case in point: when macdonalds wanted to change the chilli sauce the public had an outcry, because they loved the previous chilli sauce. And this is good. MCD did not come out and say "i hate those people who likes telling me how i should run the biz. You should be happy people have preference regarding you. Would you rather ppl dont give a damn about you? Then dont be famous. Simple. Take it in stride. You know how when kids just say "i dont care, i dont friend you" and just shut you off just because you said something they dont like? That is the same in adults. That is the same if you just build a wall and ignore all comments that you dont like. Growing up doesnt mean learning to not care about comments, is about discerning which will help you improve and which are just trolls.

I think this was one of the best podcast Dolla has ever attended.. you two are cute, both Dolla and Hush! and I love how at the end unconsciously, everyone relates to each other.. Germaine relates to Sabronzo saying she’s her spirit animal, Hazelle to Tabby being workaholic, and Azura to Angel being a ‘ranter’? ❤❤
