I don't understand this lack of 'freedom' when you are in a relationship. I understand that when you have kids, you lose freedom, but with relationships aren't you FREE to CHOOSE to spend time with your partner? 'Answering' to your partner is not an obligation, you communicate with them openly because you want to share your life with them.
Ive gotta call a spade for a spade here, its just mental gymnastics that wouldent work if done on anything else. Imagine if someone said "im not pro slavery, but, i just dont agree with taking away someone elses right to claim ownership of another human being", it just wouldent work.
This rhetoric wouldnt work with anything else. If i said to a vegan that i support having the right to choose of killing of animals and eating them, but im not pro animal slaughter, they wouldent have it would they?

Wow.....separated wife is nowhere to be found.....is....tricky for the future. How are they going to get married since he can't be legally divorced? If you can't find the ex-wife, how can you get her to sign any divorce papers, and since SG law don't allow bigamy/polygamy, how can he marry her eventually? Even for SG Muslims, before they can take another wife under Islamic law, their current wife/wives must agree, and if she can't be found, how to get approval? Hmm....
I used to have two chou chou but my mom threw away my elder sis' as it smells. which she took one of mine and it became a cloth, so she took the last chouchou I have. sadly I didnt have a chouchou in my teenage years and adulthood. just earlier this year, my mom concluded that whatever I have my sis would insist it would be hers. I realised it was so true because I've bought countless water bottles in the recent years because sis would just use mine when hers wasn't washed. to make her learn her lesson as I bought new bottle twice just because she use it, I insisted her to pay for it else it would be a vicious cycle.

I have been a therapist friend all my life, that finally I realised that I need therapy myself, how can I be therapist friend.. I draw a line there. I am still a therapist friend here and there, but am prioritising myself first..
