The Phenomenal Steen beyond IT factor. Dude is incredible. Black/Dream has the potential to be the next Stone Cold/Rock level fued if they're built correctly and brought to the main roster.
first things first, he's GODDAMN FEARLESS. he will go to any length to get heat, even this Adrian Street/Rick Rude combo he's working with currently. i'm sure there's nobody else in NXT who has the guts to pick up this gimmick and run it to the hilt.
He's ballsy af. "Call me up Vince" airbrushed on his tights. Damn right he will go to any length to get heat even if it gets him heat with the brass lol. Pretty sure he knows his worth and what he can or can't get away with.
I cant believe this is Patrick from tough enough , such a great character and improving in the ring and so young at only 22 , I hope for great things in this kids future
Alex'Y Yeah Matt's character is the one with the most potential and the most creativity no doubt, as long as WWE allows him to go full force into it. So far it's been pretty disappointing.
The Tough Enough season he was in became a joke when he got eliminated. The ONLY legitimate professional wrestler in that batch and he gets booted. So happy he got his break and made the best of it. Future Hall of Famer.
Paige big headed slutty ass was the one who booted him and look at how things turned out, she can’t wrestle no more, and he’s out here living his dream, things happen for a reason. Notice how the winners of the shit show got fired anyway...Paige is a joke
Maaaan he's good, it's not just a character with facials, appearance or mood...he has his own mind, the way he picks and uses his words wisely but without hesitation, his answers are incredible!! he's living the Velveteen Dream!!
22 years old, great physique, great gimmick, highly skilled in the ring (he was the standout guy in the ladder match IMHO) and great mic skills. Big future ahead.
That is my ONLY concern. HHH NEEDS to look after him like he is trying hard to look after Asuka in Vince's management, otherwise he, Velveteen will be screwed. Don't put him on RAW otherwise, Vince will ignore him, his creative team will book him poorly like Adam Rose and Dillinger, and Michael Cole would say something stupid like Kairi Sane and her love for Yacht or his idiotic comments about FInal Deletion. Ugh. STUPID IDIOTS!!!
waaaayyy different time now man. vince had great idea after great idea back then. nowadays most of, if not all, of his ideas suck ass. something simple, like makamuras enterance, he fucked that up by adding the strobe lights and giving half the crowd seizures
I had no problem with ADAM COLE, BAYBAY!!! winning the NA Championship, but I would have thought that The Velveteen Dream would be the one who walked out of NXT TakeOver as the NA Champion "supporters?" here's one THE VELVETEEN REVOLUTION. there
I cant believe how amazing this gimmick is. When it first got teased it was like uhhh wtf but man the uniqueness & portrayal. Patrick will be a main event player. Hope Vince is out of power by then lol
Dream did an absolutely amazing job, but people have to give props to Kenny here too. About three questions in he realizes Dream is in kayfabe and Kenny adjusts his questions to better suit Dream in kayfabe. Very well done by both men.
If Rick James (bitch!) had to comment on this interview... "Cocaine is a helluva drug" XD XD XD Dream Over...guy is a gem... :D lost it at that "as a maaan..." part XD
He’s definitely been doing his Prince homework. All though I don’t see Vince pulling the trigger he could easily become WWE champion if Vince allowed it.
You can tell The Velveteen Dream learnt about kayfabe from old school wrestlers. If WWE allows him to stay the course, he will be one of today's best in the business.
In a sense I’m worried about WWE burying this character, but on the other hand I’m almost sure he might be the next Goldust, he’s only 22 years of age, great future ahead of him
DREAM works his Gimmick not breaking the wall. That's why he'll probably become a Top Guy.. Unlike Bray Wyatt who goes on social media posting cute pics of himself w/ girls backstage. Then wonders why he can't get to the tippy Top Spot in WWE. APPRECIATION for the Wrestling business. Great to see for a Change.
