When he passes away, it will be my favorite ted contribution. He didn't just steal from one children's charity, he stole from multiple. Proceeded by playing the Jesus gimmick and preaching for money. F him and his felonious kids

I really liked how he kept up kayfabe in the real world as a greedy grifter. Especially that time he committed welfare fraud and DiBiase's ministry received more than $2.1 million in welfare funds from the state of Mississippi after his son, Brett, was hired as deputy administrator of the state's Department of Human Services.

@@InsideTheRopes Ted flying around promoting Sky-Daddy while demanding 15k for one session. Meanwhile, the same company that manages these grifts, are pushing other famous wrestlers into becoming Preachers.. it's embarrassing. I genuinely hope he and his ilk get long prison sentences.

yea i agree! but i think it was vince's idea to have MDM pay the tab for EVERYone in the restaurant so that many people all over america in restaurants will ask "who is that nice rich man who paid for EVERY ones tabs??!!"" the curiousity adds to his gimmick then. yet im confused - most of us fans from back then - at that time when MDM wrestled in WF from 1987 to 1993 - we did not know that wwf gave Teddy all this free expensive stuff! we just thought it was part of his fake gimmick. im sure wwf bragged about ted via their wwf magazine but most of us will just think it was fake money that ted carried around. if ted was arriving in a limo - that limo was probably for Vince and ted just happened to be there due to his gimmick. that is what i assumed.

I always thought that he should've been the one behind the "Invasion" angle. That he bought WCW and wanted to take down the WWF. Why? Because the biggest star in WWF history was once his "Million Dollar Champion".

Well at the time wrestlers were still pretending that they really were the people they portray on TV. So if he "really" was rich, he'd pay for people's food wouldn't he? No it's not a bad guy move but it is a move that legitimises that he is rich.
