She's shorter than *Ruby,* dude. Seriously, only Nora and Neo are shorter. Nora's feet don't touch the ground sitting on a chair in the cafeteria in Volume 1 (or 2?), and Neo is literally 4'10" *in heels.* Probably somewhere from 4'6" to 4'9" without. (I don't know what different lengths of heel look like.)
It's not often we see her struggling with heels at all. Meanwhile, Ruby's all like, "Can we have a serious talk about how Weiss FIGHTS in these?! ...Stupid lady-stilts!"

Humankind's greatest advantage is our brain. With it, we've learned anything can be a weapon, with enough creativity. RWBY is that principle on steroids.

Completely agree, especially when you remember that this is probably the most she's enjoyed herself since BEFORE the fall of beacon. She finally got back to her real family and just proceeds to enjoy herself and that is why she's my favourite character.
I can understand if someone doesn't like Weiss at the beginning (I mean I didn't) but if you haven't grown to love her by the later volumes I will seriously question if it there isn't something wrong with them.
l used to like her a lot from the very beginning due to her fighting style, now is so dull...I am grateful the character itself has developed, but l don´t feel the same hype for RWBY as a whole anymore...Not because of the "Monty Oum is gone" (though l certainly miss him and his work) argument, he did amazing fights and they had unique flow and creativity, but there are other action choreographers that can do good as well, which is why l wonder the series has struggled so hard to pick up on combat again.

I just finished binge watching this show. I think I realised Weiss is my favorite character in volume 5 when I saw her reaction to all the Team RWBY reunions.
@@RickeGnool I'd argue yang is up there too, hers just isn't in a good direction (both in-universe because disarming and out-of-universe for...nautical reasons)
@@RickeGnool My point was that Yang's character changed, not that the change was well executed because, honestly, it wasn't. I enjoyed her before volume 3 and by volume 5 I would just groan whenever she was on screen beecause she was reduced to "angry lady punches stuff". Last chapter made her outright dumb, giving into her anger over a stupidly minute thing and it gets their party in trouble. That's not temperamental, that's retarded. Or mentally ill but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't make their flagship gay character unwell in the head because that would bring unfortunate implications.

@TheWarriorEmerald I think that is the point. The gray of the right tablecloth is slightly darker and warmer. Most people, like Ruby, would not know the difference, but princesses like Weiss would.

@@Arkatox true. Ruby was like 15 at the time so really the older voice actings are much more reasonable. I'm like around ruby's age right now and no one's voice sounds like a 10 year old.
@@kuma-kun9777 everyone's voice is different, some have soft, rough, high, low, and etc. Just because you don't sound like that doesn't mean others don't.
Y'know, I kinda miss the school years, if only since we won't be able to have ridiculous fights like the Best Day Ever War, or such fun dorm banter. "So, Blake Belladonna, What. Is. Wrong?" Or maybe the show just needs better planning to do stuff like that from time to time...
I'm sure we'll get silly stuff like that again. Vol 4-6 were just very serious volumes of the kids realizing harsh realities, but they seem like they're moving on now. So here's hoping we'll see more silliness!

I could agree with the first season with its sometimes awkward animation but it got better since season 2. Note that this is not animated by Disney or some other big studio so don't expect any stellar animation (Hell, even some shows from those big studios have worse animation than this). Not to mention the anime inspired look.
Actually I like the old animations more I think, they're less rigid in my opinion, not really realistic but then again realism is not really what I look for in this series, plus I think winter looks better in the old animation
