I hate all the grading companies but it's the game we have to play. Hate giving them my money but it's a great way to get some extra money on the selling end.
Never thought i would see you around here must really want that cgc waifu, but ya hard agree really no other option if you want to get the most value out of selling your cards. I just wish i had your futuresight and spammed a bunch of 500 card subs for super cheap too that was OP
Goodluck on the grading, IMO I think the cloud card FFTCG has a shot in getting a 10. It is quite clean IMO. A question since I just started and thought that Fantasia Bunko was not released in EN. So it was actually released since you have an EN copy?
You might be thinking of Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko, very similar set but fujimi came out in en in 2019 and i hope the cloud gets a 10 that would be amazing
I gotcha on the PSA 10, however it just seems so hollow that people would think that would be better. I feel like spending that money I would want an actual grade and not just the 10 that psa slaps on everything. Also the psa label is just ugly lol.

They put 10s on perfect cards and weiss schwarz most cards are perfect. I guarantee 99% of people couldnt find a difference in a PSA 10 and a BGS 10, the difference could be microscopic. BGS will give perfect cards a 9.5 and thats the problem
Also not trying to call you out lol i just see it a lot on fb ppl overestimate how easy psa is who havent graded before and if i posted that raw card on fb asking if its a psa 10 every single comment would say 100% 10 psa puts 10 on everything
@@audrisampson nice catch, but that tiny spec knocked it down to a 9 lol and thats what i mean ppl talk as if everything is a psa 10 but even a very tiny imperfection can knock it down to a 9, when we are talking psa 9, 10 and bgs 9.5, and 10 its the difference between microscopic damage sometimes lol so i wouldnt say people are buying hollow grades but the minuscule difference doesnt matter to most ppl
@@YunoTCG , don't worry I didn't think you were calling me out. I just figure that cgc and beckett pull out a microscope and look for micro scratches on the surfaces and such. Something along the lines that a psa 10 is perfect to the naked eye, Beckett black label is truly perfect. I could be wrong though.
Honestly i think every company is inconsistent, theres hundreds of different graders and some are harsh some are easy. At the end of the day these are just regular people doing their job and theres way too many factors like if they had a bad day or if they zoned out while looking at your card. Its a good baseline but i always double check condition of graded cards from every company
I agree that 9.5 is so undesirable . I would always rather have a PSA 10 over a 9.5 BGS/CGC. As for a personal collection I am tempted to try CGC and then eventually crossgrade the 9.5s to PSA 10s
I stumbled on this video, since I wanted to start grading my cards. Do you have any advice on how to prep them? I always sleeved them out of sealed, but want to know if I should redo prior to submission.
I always use brand new sleeves and card savers, for me i feel like the nicer it looks before the grader sees it the more likely you are to get a high grade but thats superstition haha one thing i can say for a fact is make sure theres not a single hint of a fingerprint on your card because it will definitely affect the grade. A microfiber cloth is good for most cards
I wont send any weiss schwarz to psa until they publicly say theyll grade all weiss schwarz cards and wont deny for grading based on the "suggestiveness" of the art of card.
Agreed i wish CGC went the PSA route instead of playing games with their hyper rare 10s like BGS, CSG just changed their whole grading scale tho so honestly CGC might be next but a lot of people would be heated if they wasted time and money early on just for them to change up everything
BGS. Pop report is trash, customer service sucks , no security in their labels , living in the stone ages with their services only reason BGS survives is catering to gamblers for black labels , BGS will slab cards upside down, crooked labels , i've seen someone send 10 cards all different & yet it they all got the same name PSA is better in every way for a collector, Pop report is accurate , labels have security, service is way better even if my card is perfect i will never give BGS my card
Ive personally had extremely good customer service when i sent at high tiers (express/premium) but at the low tiers they could care less you are basically just a lowly peasant. Every company makes mistakes as well ive seen backwards cgc cards and any mislabeled psa as well but for the most part i agree that bgs just isnt worth sending to
