Yes the dream of The big studio, for some reason I didn't think of animation as being possible for me for years. Now after graduating (again) I'm still figuring out how to reach that professional efficiency, and as you mentioned keeping up with the healthy breaks and then back to the next task. But it doesn't all sound impossible even if at a smaller scale :)
Thanks for sharing your artist advice. It's really useful. This week I watched some of your calarts vlogs because I'm always curious about how other people learn and which methods they use. And I really liked your way of documenting. I hope that everything goes well. As you said, animation is rough and it's not as straightforward as we may think. The industry is always changing. Lots of love from Spain!
Yay! Happy to see you again, thanks for sharing your life updates and lessons. I'm going through a similar experience post art school. Entering the working world is a rude awakening, but it's a beautiful challenge to decide to live gracefully, prioritize quality of life, and not become demoralized by a mismatch between expectations and reality.
Hi Kim. So happy to see you again on the channel. I have been hoping and crossing fingers that you would return. Missed your positive outlook on life and drawing. Sorry to hear things have not been going that completely well but I hope it all picks up for you. I really enjoyed watching your process in painting urban/buildings landscapes as they were such beautiful buildings in Germany. Maybe you can find the same in LA or back in Germany. Hope to see heaps more informative videos especially the paintings. Good luck
