Happy Halloween! Opening up portals to the underworld here with a remix of two apocalyptic sources!
This remix started as a request, mixing Kuja's battle theme (The Dark Messenger) from Final Fantasy 9 with Welcome to the Darkness from Chaos Legion. Both tracks are very impressive compositions that were quite fun to weave together. blending Kuja's rock elements with Chaos Legion's massive percussion and choral parts was quite the undertaking, and though I still wish I could have gotten closer to the immense orchestral vibe of the original, in the end I'm pretty satisfied with what I learned and accomplished. Forgot how fun Final Fantasy songs are to work with!
