What a great "product" you have put out. I'm in a spot in my life where I'm feeling more and more called to serve. Your words to, "pray, pray and pray" about the Diaconate hit home. Keep up the great work and continue to be an inspiration for those men in your Archdiocese who also may just want to be asked, "have you ever thought about the Diaconate?" I truly understood the discernment process and the requirement for it, but I think many of us (me included) may be a little intimidated by the process. But if asked, may open up a dialogue that will lead to a better understanding of asking God for help to discern what their (my) role really is in this Catholic Church and at this weird time we're living in.
I think I'm feeling the call as well, but share your hesitation. I'm just worried that once I contact the vocations office or talk to my pastor about even just the remote possibility, there is no going back. I know that there is discernment involved and all those who think they are called may not be, but I'm intimidated by it all. Please know of my prayers for you.
