This is the first time I saw Chris, Leon and Claire being defeated by a villain so easily and got nothing to do, if Rebecca hadn't arrived, they surely will died in the end, and Jill had to deal with Maria and Dylan alone

The real reason why Leon and Jill can't be in a game together is because they would be too strong together. It would turn into Devil May Cry and they would easily body everyone.

They way I was SHOCKED seeing Chris, Claire and Leon got infected, I teared up first time watching it on theater 😭

I think Dylan is right that they are being used as pawns and that their leaders are corrupt. Remember the ending of Resident Evil: Village, where a soldier tells Chris that the BSAA did not send soldiers, but bioweapons.

I want more RE games like the remakes with these characters running around cities, towns, sewers and labs, solving ridiculous puzzles involving novel parts and tools. Just keep making that.

Interesting. But then again his bio drones method would be pointless as the infected would still attack anyone who isn’t infected. So in the end, everyone would still be infected.

a bit odd that Jill and Claire went with their Remake design and VA while Chris and Leon retained their looks and VA from Vendetta, which are based from the OG designs.

The movie wasn't great. But the animation was incredible, to give it it's fair due. Some of the cleanest fight scenes a computer has ever rendered. Everyone's bodies move realistically.

I’ve been a Jilleon fan for awhile. Oh I’d love to see them work together more, in any media. Of course, I would be more than happy if they developed more… chemistry.

Man as much as Nick has proven to be a perfect voice for Remake Leon, he was just not the right fit for the voice in infinite Darkness. I'm so glad Matthew was brought back for the older version of him, he's just fits it so much better.

Anybody else feeling chemistry between Leon & Jill? Chris is gonna die alone at this point while Leon gets all the girls. This bad guy? At least Aries knew he wanted to burn the world & is a bad guy while this guy just thinks he's some kinda good. Plus anybody he infects would kill those who aren't so no sense in his logic.

The movie was great and I loved seeing our heroes all together but the villain kinda fell flat at the last moment. The whole movie he was all "screw the rich and powerful" and at the last moment he kinda just went full genocide mode out of nowhere. Like, I get that they needed an excuse to kick his ass but CapCom knows better than to throw away a good villain. He made a really good point throughout the movie and the opening did a great job of setting up why he's a "bad" guy but then it tosses it all out the window when he just decides to indiscriminately massacre people. It would've been cooler to see him use his weapon on the same people he blames for what happened, then we have a moral debate of whether or not he was in the right. But shooty shooty bang bang with Resident Evil dream team is still awesome. Still, a lot of missed potential for a really deep villain.

Don’t understand why s many people are saying this Jill is straight out of RE3. You can clearly see lines were added to her skin and she looks more worn out in general. Pause at 1:09, can see lines on her neck, mouth and eyes to age her up.

Playing God still strikes a lot of terror Dylan. The definition of terrorism is pretty much inflicting violence and fear for political, religious or ideological gain. And why did you do this? Ideological gain. Terrorist fits nicely. But the thing that is the most horrifying about Dylan I think is how his PTSD manifests. The banging of his cane, the russian roulette, the look of AGONY on his face. I think more than any villain thus far Leon and Chris would sympathize with Dylan. If he weren't a scumbag trying to kill them. Dylan is like the polar opposite of our core 5 protagonists in how he turned out. They all came out of the same fire; the destruction of Racoon City by Umbrella and the incident in the Arklay Mountains outside Racoon City. Those twin fires brought them together as an unbeatable team. They couldn't survive any other way than to band together and FIGHT. But Dylan was all alone. Used up and thrown away. A broken umbrella. A shame he ended up that way really. Even a broken umbrella can still keep out some of the rain. Ask Carlos or Luis. This juxtaposition makes Death Island so much more elegant than Vendetta. Vendetta is just plain fun. But it doesn't have the deeper, somber backstory that makes Death Island so satisfying.

The only thing i don't like about this movie (and Infinite Darkness) is despite the good writing , why do only the villains make good points only to be defeated and their points not considered? I know this tends to happen in a lot of movies now in general, but just saying.
