My personal fun fact. I got my name, Yasin Affandi, from Brunei. Some said, he was a nationalist in Brunei. My father got my name while he was serving for Malaysian police force who was assisting Brunei from the confrontation from Indonesia. Malaya (independence from British in 1957) faced confrontations from Indonesia and the Philippines when the federation of Malaysia was formed in 1963 together with Singapore, Sabah and Sarawak. In 1965, Singapore gained independence from Malaysia.

One more thing, Brunei is the fattest country in Southeast Asia. What month was this video taken because now the Brunei palace is holding an open house for Eid al-Fitr and everyone can enter the sultan's palace to take part in the open house. Bruneian people don't really care about money because their lives are guaranteed by the sultan. Brunei is the most devout Muslim country even though it only relies on oil and gas, but this country is always blessed by God.
Oh wow really! Thankyou for that extra information! Thia video was taken in Januari this year. Unfortunate we are a little bit behind with uploading because of traveling and little time to edit. So unfortunate we couldn't go in the palace back then! But good to know it's open now! We were just there before the Royal wedding was taken place. 😁✌🏻
@@JacksonMarjoThe Brunei sultan's palace is only open during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, everyone, both non-Muslims and foreigners, can enter the palace to take part in the open house. I attended an open house in 2019 after the pandemic and there were no more open houses, but now there are again. The wedding of the Sultan's son yesterday was very busy and there were lots of foreign people enthusiastic, but at that time I wasn't there because last year's wedding I had already attended.
@@JacksonMarjo The wedding of Brunei's crown prince last year was a long time coming, I live in the city of Samarinda, East Kalimantan and the distance is also close because there are lots of buses from Malaysia
