Chennai is really safe for ladies. I was there for 1.5 years and I stayed alone in a flat. No single bad experiences there . N I love chennai for that ❤️❤️❤️

We have been staying in Chennai since 10 years and people have lot of misconceptions about this beautiful place.It's hot only from March to September.Rest of the months,weather is very pleasant.And yes it's very clean and green.Very happy to see you in Chennai😊Welcome and have a pleasant stay😊
@Krish n Sru - I totally agree with you. Whenever I tell people that Chennai is one of my favorite cities, some people will make a face and say oh no! It's so hot! It's so dirty. Chennai people are not friendly, etc. I was so shocked to hear all this because I have been visiting ever since I was a kid. Have always had a soft corner for Chennai and always will. Like some people say, 'It's not a place, but an emotion!' Cannot believe you guys have been staying there for 10 years. Time flies! ☺️☀️😉

Visit chennai with family during nov to January time... T-nagar shopping, marina beach, Besant nagar 😔😔😔missing
The place you ate lunch is not the main Marina beach. That is just the back area used by fishermen and where you get fresh seafood. The main Marina beach area is like corniche in Middle East but it is now covered for Metro construction . And those flats which you showed along the beachside is a great initiative by the TN govt whereby the slums there were erased and the slum dwellers were provided these flats.

Chennai is love diluchetta. Wondering why you didn’t visit it before. And regarding the cleanliness it is a common misconception because of old movies and all. Yea they have slum areas but it is a part of city, like any other cities. With awesomeFood and beaches Chennai is like a wholesome package. Please visit besan nagar beach also.
