Epic Raz!! Don't worry, I'm 49 and still hit up the skate parks with my X-Maxx....and BMX lol... Awkward moment comes when you find out you're older than all the kids parents at the skatepark lol.
I have had the pleasure of working on a guy's collection of conley V'8. Even some prototypes or basically one off and that guy wanted a toyan v8. Well, I know the cnc is spot on but they wear out fast. In so many ways. He is on his second. If you think that conley v'8 were expensive when he was still in business, there is a reason. The owner has had some for almost 25 years and they still run perfect. He runs then almost daily. He owns 12 of them. Even the engine that was on the TV show Tool Time! Pretty cool. The toyans are cool too, the they are not for the long haul in my opinion. Thanks for the video!
Today brother excellent look like a real TV commercial wow great production good job raz miss you brother thanks your friendly neighborhood Doorman william from NYC forgettaboutit 👊 ✌️ 😀
I think the allen wrench driveshaft is a great idea for saving cost. It's strong, reliable and, most importantly, cheap. Why manufacture a driveshaft when you can use something that already exists in HUGE numbers?
Just picked the hyper go up, warning!!! The four screws holding the diff together will come loose and eventually chew threw the chassis!!! Locktite everything!!!
hyper go is the bomb! got them both, like you said, for the money...man! and LMAO, not seen your face😂😂😂always a pleasure watching your vids bro.keep up the great work!💯👌🏻👊🏻
Hahahha!! I just enjoy and like your video's although I am also a builder but mainly into gravel rally cars. Please thanks having learnt a lot from your video's
Thanks for the review! Still so disappointed with the delay to ship my AK-917 pre-order that I haven't gone through to tighten the screws, refill the shocks or power it up yet. Seriously had to threaten to go through PayPal to cancel the order to get mine coming a month after everyone else. SMH. Dude, it's time for you to go Freedom Factory and get that mullet! And a bitchin' Camaro! 😆
Love the honest china specials review brother, while most of it is "meeehhhh", once in a while you do find a gem that's worth the $ for just plain'ole fun! 😎 👍
Think I'll stick with the infraction. Lmfao. btw Raz, I finally got my 2wd Slash up over 100mph. I hit 103 to be exact, but it had more in it. I would've actually done it with no problems and went faster than 103 this time if I hadn't gone over a manhole cover, causing the car to backflip and causing some damage. bent both front axles (somehow), bent the front brace support on the bulkhead (no front bumber and running an open wheel truggie style body, lol), bent my front sway bar and ripped off my rear wing. I can deal with the damage since it's minor, and since this was the first of 10 tries, my transmission stayed together without grenading. was nice actually running the car for a bit without having to rebuild the entire transmission. The only difference this time is I ran the Slash with a hot racing slipper clutch, whereas in the last 10 attempts, I ran with a slipper eliminator. guess the slipper clutch matters a lot when you're trying to run a 1/8 scale motor on 6s in a vehicle that was never designed for that much power. Lmfao
I know that feeling when people look at a guy in his 40’s, however my daughter always comes she’s my spotter when flying fpv & my spotter on speed runs.
LoL yup it's all there. The face that has launched a thousand speed runs. The face that has lead the way, brining 200mph R/C cars into our homes. SALUTE!! That motor, have seen it reviewed several times and it's not an easy thing to make run on fuel. Looks well made apparently it's still aimed at master craftsmen/machinists. As for that little buggy, looks like a good time and great entry level car. Something to be aware of is the aluminum suspension arms are likely something like 6065 T3 so the suspension might bend or twist pretty easy. Especially the front arms without a full width bumper. That baby Infraction with the light show. Did this little Infraction come with pavement tires and a set of drift tires in the box? There's a slightly smaller version of this chassis, without naming the manufacturer/vendor known as a 1600 series chassis and I have a number of 1604-05. Great models right out of the box. What I noticed is the wheelbase hits right around 1/12 scale pan cars. So a 1604 with a little work to make the rear defuser removable and trim the front bumper opens the car up to a bunch of Bolink/JR Speed and Kamtech bodies. Yeah, not speed run cars but great fun. Hopefully you will sneak in here and there some more of this kind of reviews in the future.
There are plenty of videos of that v8 running with no problems! Actually there videos of it mounted in 1/3 - 1/4 scale cars running down the streets and in parking lots.
I just bought the mjx hyper go with the rally body (haven't received it yet) and I got a VW Beetle 1/12 scale body for it (waiting on that too)! The plan is to replicate the Bug I had in high school that I dated my wife of 27 years in. Hey Kev, where is your review of it? I want to see how much punishment it can take! Good job on the review!
I have a Toyan 2-cylinder engine in one of my custom crawlers and a Toyan 4-cylinder L400 engine in my 8s Kraton. It's not very fast but it's cool. I want to take it out and build an RC tank to install it in.
I hope you're gonna revisit the toyan engine perhaps you could watch how other's built them to run it would be a cool project if you installed it on one of your cars
I have some great cheap RC cars. They are absolutely fun in many situations that big fast cars just aren’t needed. I often bring them to friends or family’s houses for the kids to play with. I also bring them when I bring my more expensive faster rigs to places that I know kids will be and ask me to try. So I show them the smaller ones and let them play with them. A few parents have balked and said they don’t want their kids to break it. To say why not, I probably will later😂 I promise them that I’m responsible for their kid breaking it because it’s my decision to let them play with it. If it breaks, not on you or your kid, it’s on me.
Cool vid as always, but your friend should be ashamed of himself for drinking Stella. I'm constantly impressed by the cheaper stuff coming out of China and what you can get for the money as a beginner. It also seems to me to be the way companies over there cut their teeth and get into the market, becoming more trusted brands as time goes on. I remember when Hobbywing was one of those cheap brands.
עוקב אחריך , אני בן 53 , בדיוק הסעתי במקום שאתה מסיע בפארק אופניים בהרצליה , אותה התלבטות מביכה רק שלא יראו אותי. מתגעגע לימים , זה עוד יחזור.....תמשיך i'm 53 tthe same embarrassment the same place in herzliya. hope no one will see me .keep on raz
