You really said it man, it's like we were missing that sense of wonder and adventure, thanks for bringing more attention to this manga too. I made a video comparing it a little bit with the emotions that One Piece made me feel 20 years ago. It just hit me differently than a bunch of adventure mangas released in the last couple of years. I really want this manga to succeed. The Hype is real🔥🔥🔥

I can already tell that the male mc is that legendary hero. The amnesia thing is too obvious, can't wait to see how the author unravels all of it thou. Seems promising

Maan, this manga literally give me some One piece from the beginning, The art style look Like Gachialuta with One piece art fusion. And the "Dream" and "Romance" refference, it's just peak. Let's see what happens next.

As others have said lots of generic traits/executions , writers can use cliché and tropes if they want but they need to give use new associations /pairings with them Example avatar the last airbenbender... Generic elemental magic but newer association martial arts based activation , spirituality and a kingdom hierarchy like structure for the avatar state wielding all 4 other elements

Well, just read chapter 1 & 2 of the serialized Galaxias, but also the one shot. Tbh, I really did like the one shot: Jio and Nereid’s roles are swapped, and it’s more of a kaiju story than a one-piece HXH story, and tbh, Nereid’s conflictions are slightly more compelling than what we got with Jio. But I do get why the author did that; it’s too similar to most kaiju stories, and the “naked monster girl waking up next to the Mc.” Has been done too many times. Turning the series into a “search for your parent.” Type niche like HXH probably was the best idea for a weekly series like this, but tbh, chapter one wasn’t the strongest, and 2nd while decent, isn’t exactly too compelling. (I enjoyed the foreshadowing, character conflictions, and setting set up in chapter 1, but a lot of stuff that happened chapter one is basic story building, and besides genre, all other shonen stories do the exact same thing. Chapter 2 also doesn’t help that sentiment, being that it set up a side-story narrative while also building up the cast, which is closer to filler - as of right now - than actual lore stuff, im not going to spoil it, but go read it for yourself.) Depending on how the first chapters will go will be a make or break for this series, since like ayashimon, what you do with the first 10 chapters could be a making of a series or breaks it. (Gachakuta has a strong 1st chapter, *spoilers* : -rudo gets framed for murder. -Rudo watches as his father figure gets murdered. - his best friend hates him since she thinks he murdered someone. -he has a weird grin, and is hated by many people, especially since he comes from the “bad” side of what the ground dwellers think of as heaven. -he is casted out, and is almost enslaved by a couple of ground dwellers. -get attacked by trash beasts. -meets the cleaners. And that’s basically chapter one, which sets up Rudo’s conflictions, what’s happening in the setting, where he’s at, Rudo’s basic abilities, his problems and what he needs to solve, and questions for the future that both the reader and Rudo will have to solve. Galaxias put out some of these questions: what are dragon folk? Jio is the daughter of the famous explorer who killed the dragon king, who is the dragon king and why was he killed? What’s up with Nereid’s amnesia and power? These are some good questions, and in chapter 2, Jio answers some of them, which is chapter 1s strongest points, as well as establishing Jio and Nereid’s characters, but the setting set up in chapter two also feels a bit too much like filler, and while it does clear up a lot, it feels almost.. *tangety* to say the least, since it feels like a filler part in Naruto: It helps build the plot, but the things happening itself isn’t exactly all that important. (But that could be because we have no clue as to the importance till chapter 3.) ) Right now, it’s hard to say where this series is going, but it definitely does have potential, and I think it’s a good read to keep track of, especially since it could be a really good series, but the allusions and themes it rips from other series is a little bit too noticeable, (Jio literally does a Gon position and fishes, and gets scolded by her parental figure that isn’t related to her, and catches the other MC while fishing.. while the last one isn’t a HXH, it does remind me of GI, and some other mangas.. also the whole dragon thing is giving bad nen and basically superpower ptsd, especially of MHA with what the Dragon knight could do.) We’re going to have to wait and see how this series will do, especially since it’s starting chapter isn’t as strong as the ball talk in chapter one of Dan da Dan, or Rudo beating a the living shit out of some thugs, but I do really enjoy Juno’s character, and Nereid is interesting, but we’re going to have to wait around 10 chapters before anything truly can be stated :/ Highly recommend checking it out to get your opinions, or any of the other manga I’ve said in this rant. I don't know why, but reading this felt like starting out watching a mix of Fairy Tail and Hunter X Hunter

I didn't understand chapter 0, and where it stands. Is it just a separated thing? both chapters are sooooo different, but the main characters are the same.

The first chapter was so similar to hunter x hunter episode 1 like neraid he was looking for that great adventurer in Kites case he was looking for Gohs father geene

This started very generic. Lost dad, amnesia, OP dude with dragon powers, main motivation see the world, and even the government being after our lead. But once the fight started I got more into it. If this was in Jump I'd feel it would be axe fodder, but WSM I think it'll be a fine series to follow. Think I would enjoy it more if I hadn't read so many other series similar. Feels like the kind of series a kid would discover via anime & get hyped about. Biggest hope is that the series gets more distinguishable traits with time cause even the comedy & vibes feel very classic shonen. But there have been other successful series that felt cookie cutter at the start & ended up enjoyable.

The father had his ribs out of His body, he should be dead 😅 but whatever the first chapter was too long for me it take me 30 minutes to finished and i Read fast😅 i liked the second chapter more than this.
