A massive airport. I nearly missed my plane to Kuching not realising you have to board a train to catch your flight, thanks to the security guard. Think I walked around in a circle 4 or 5 times looking at these trains come and go. Never travel economy again squashed up for 7 hours Sydney to K.L. Will be business class get a better sleep.
I think you should try the first class first. Its your choice im just suggesting. I've tried once with Malaysia Airlines and the service very impressive.
when they build KLIA2 they should have in mind immediately how to have a dedicated connection between KLIA and KLIA2 for easy passenger movement who need to change between these 2 terminals rather then rely in ERL rail. A great contrast between KLIA and KLIA2 has bring down the quality of KLIA as an overall in world ranking. Though it is named KLIA2, it is actually part of the whole KLIA and use the same airport code i.e. KUL. Sebab nya ia dibina secara terburu2. Cuba lah gi lihat Changi terminal 4 yg baru siap.
Sampai klia 2 je nk buat ape terminal banyk2 lain lh klau 2sampai4 pagi still banyk flight gi baru buat lagi 1 terminal.tapi aq memang salute arh dengn malaysia Airport ade 2 atc.
Sayang sekali.. KLIA x lg... termasuk antara 10 Airport terbesar Di dunia... kerana airports 2 Di tempat negara lain begitu besar dan canggih sekali....

The departure hall is boring, dull ,lifeless, plain walls, stuffy as compared to the arrival hall, better be sure to go early coz the distance to the gate is a 20minutws walk,i feel sorry for the elders
This airport is not suitable for old and disable person. Because it is too big. From the main terminal to International Terminal, you need 15 - 20 minutes walk which it is very not old and disable friendly. Plus, there have too many people lost when they want to find out their plane. Lack of information board and guide.
You're right on lack of information and board but someone in their 60s won't have a problem.And there's always wheelchair. If he has trouble walking around here,he's also going to have trouble everywhere else.I don't think it's that bad.I've been to better ones but KLIA is still in the top 20 in the world.
Mc Fluffy Kau ingat aku tak tahu ke KLIA takde wheelchair? Kau paham ke tidak aku kata apa? I said "walk" or dalam bahasa melayu nya adalah PERJALANAN. Aku sendiri dulu dtg KLIA2 buat survey nak bagi korang naik dgn selesa. Still terminal tuh memenatkan bagi orang2 tua dan membuang masa perjalanan yang sepatutnya lebih cepat dan cekap.
Malaysian is proud with airport that was design by someone from different country... pathetic. Proud is for when the designers is from your own country. Duhh
Link Zero Unlike Indonesia we have new and modern international airport, we are keeping up with global demand. Indonesia is still stuck with the old BandaraSoekarno airport smh. KLIA has been in top 10 in the most beautiful airports in the world for years.
