Beautiful home and so glad that the earl and his family work so hard to preserve the estate for others to admire and enjoy. The English really know how to preserve and present their architectural and horticultural heritage.

I just love anything from Tudor times!! Oh how I'd love to have a time machine and be able to go back and experience England first hand 500 years ago (and of course be able to leave at any time I wanted lol!)

Hi! I live near Purdue University in Indiana. It's so fun seeing how you have adapted to such a different life. I'm watching you close curtains and you are making a meddler tart. I'm so intrigued. I make the best crust and the best pumpkin pie, (use Libby pumpkin from a can) and it's a fabulous recipe right on the can. It is not icky over spiced liked pies from the grocery. I would sure like to try this meddler tart. So interesting and a new vocabulary for me too. Keep at it, you are so fun. I love the UK. Good Luck with everything!!!!

Suzanne again, Ms. JULIE, DO YOU KNOW ABOUT Kirsten and Jorge on utube? They might be helpful to your goals at Mapperton. This cute 50 ish couple are German expatriots who adore living in England. This couple video themselves visiting historic places like yours. They have a good size following and more people would learn about all you have for the public at Mapperton. My idea, is for you to contact these cool people and give them a free stay at Mapperton. Show them around etc They are well liked as are you. I feel this would be a fabulous marketing opportunity for you, Ms. JULIE. MUCH LOVE. You are just so fun!!!!!

That’s when the family moved from Hinchingbrooke House - which as the original family seat. It was too large and tax-expensive for them to maintain. Mapperton is smaller.
