OMG....did I just witness the making of little little fairy penguins..LOL Me and an old work mate (Boss) did similar in ancient camper vans too many years ago. Ahhhh....thanks for re-kindling the memories...Cheers guys..
Oh Dennis, your comment will go down as one of our favourites of all time! 😆 Yes you did! You can imagine our surprise when we were lying on the grass with the camera 🤭
My granddaughter (8) & I are just sitting done to watch you guys she has been asking to watch the camping show that has the healthy family & cute little boy 😃😃😃 you can imagine her excitement now that it is finally Sunday night 💗💗💗 love your episodes
Fantastic episode !! Love the beautiful vistas along the way, and the drone footage is amazing. It is so cute when Jasper gets so excited when he sees anything to do with trains, especially Thomas! Once again, well done on a wonderful and informative production of this beautiful coastline!
Hi all Loved your visit to Stanley and the Nut! My wife and I visited this area in 2008 and enjoyed the peaceful ambiance of the area. We did a cruise on Arthur River. Unfortunately, we have been unable to return, and my wife is now largely confined to a wheelchair, which, as we are in our 70’s, limits where we can travel. Cheers. George
Hi George, it’s wonderful that you got to experience this beautiful part of the world together. We would love to get over to Arthur River as have never been there 😊
Thanks for sharing your time and experiences travelling Tasmania. We visited for the third time, travelling from Devonport to Huon Valley and back up the East Coast, but first time taking our own car (Camry Hybrid), which is a game changer.Tasmania food, wine, wilderness is mind blowing, and people are so genuine/nice, but due to Tasmania having 500k population, it is so sparse (For example, someone told me Bicheno is the second most populated town on the east coast, but has the street size between St Leonards/Indented Heads in Victoria) . This time we travelled through Tasmania in summer, and this has been phenomenal, and we are now planning to come back next summer to the west coast. If you are a motorcycle rider, we highly recommend coming over to these magnificent quality roads (very rarely see pot holes even in a 'c' road). I can't believe the Tassie government doesn't advertise this beautiful hidden state more. NB: my wife found your ebook helped greatly planning this trip. Thanks for your time and effort putting it together. Highly recommend it to others if you are planning to come to Tasmania
Great episode! We have relatives in Smithton so have been to this area a few times but we didn't know about the Veteran Car collection. We will definitely check that out next trip. Keep traveling and sharing your adventures.
Hi, on the Christmas holidays i went to tazzy with my dad because he was born there. But we went to guns and planes cave, the penguin park, wings wildlife park and most of all the nut state reserve, honestly if you want a challenge try and walk up next time😬😅 like i did, ngl I was dead at the top😂
We Lived at Penguin for a few years. Must have been 30 years ago. I actually owned the local Taxi service. They used to have a minature train there that you could sit on. Great little town. Actually in Tassie at the moment but not really on holiday. Hopefully Next time will be a holiday Great Video
Hi guys, once again every show just gets better and better , thanks for all the info and we’ll be down loading the books , Jasper keep mum dad train spotting for me your’re doing a great job. Stay safe S&D
Guys I loved your video. It brought back so many wonderful memories of when my husband and I did a 4 week road trip around Tassie in 2021. Stanley was one of our favourite places to stay. Stayed at Ship Inn which was truly amazing. We did the Tarkine Drive and Trowutta Arch was so amazing and probably our highlight of the drive. Great drone shots by the way as well. Looking forward to the rest of your Tassie travels❤ By the way are your boots from Merry People?
Well it looks like Tasmania is going to be on the top of our list in the next year or so. Your content is so well put together and ever so informative. Thanks for all that you do to bring it to us all. Looking forward to the next episode. PS we took the trip in the Apollo Van. Had a blast along the NSW south coast. Thank you 🙏🏾 for helping us make this happen. Would love to have a chat to you both one day. Travel safe. 🙂
Amazing footage guys, when we are caravaning, and find libraries, and I donate handmade bookmarks, at each one. Just a little contribution for fellow travelers.
We are so excited that we are in Tassie at the same time as you are. We have been watching you since you started. Like you we are here for 10 weeks. We are heading to Stanley today so this episode was perfect timing. Hope to see you on the road some day. In the meantime safe travels.
Loved the episode, TAS on our wish list, van due very soon. Katie can I ask the brand of your felt hat, after one myself but don’t want a really wide brim
We really enjoy your shows! We know it’s hard to do everything next time your up North West Tassie might be worth calling into Dismal Swamp, there is a great slide there and such an interesting place!
Great to See you back travelling around Tassie, Lets hope this time there is NO Lockdown whilst you are Down There. sandy Cape Track Just out of Temma and also Balfour on the West Coast are Great Scenic Drives with Magnificent Scenery & Views if you get the Chance. Katie may Need to drive these just to be a bit More Cautious without the Van Safe Travels
Just a little tip for you from former mainlanders, living here for nearly 3yrs after travelling around tassie for many years on holidays. Find out how the locals pronounce place names cause they are not as the sound. Tarkine is pronounced tarkiiiine not eeen. Happy to help Safe travels.
Hi, I have been watching your Tasmania videos. We are thinking of visiting Tasmania next year. Could you please let me what time of year (what months) you went, I can’t seem to see that on your video. Thanks very much Wendy
Love the new opening to your vlog. Again, another episode of great information and the beautiful scenery of Tasmania. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. Oh and move over Paul and Katie there is a new host in town. Go Jasper.
