Love it , i always have Zs in my life (currently 75 Z retromoded you can say i guess) The Z32 is the only one that got away but i like to grab one in the future. Love seeing yung people enthusiatic about older engaging cars like this. looks like you have your hands full BUT that is the part of the gearheadness we love to be in as a life style.. congrats following along in your jurney..
I LOVE the older cars more than anything. something about HEARING and FEELING that raw power is unlike any other. i've always wanted a Z and finally got one last fall, Honestly i couldn't be happier with owning it & i cant wait to see where Ziablo takes me.
@04:39 you want to get the Brass shifter bushing kit, it will takealll the slop rite out of that shifter and have it tight and crisper then oem. one of the most rewarding mods on the z32. youlll LOVEEEEE shifting her after that solid bushing swap. the oem plastic is junk. z1motorsports sells the bras shifter bushing kit. easy to iunstall also, with patience, you can do from inside the cabin once you removeradio bezel and then shifter bezel. the botom nut in the shifter plate is hadest. but you got tiny mechnic hands. will def save you here!

i just finishedm chopping and swapping the rear quarter panel on my 94 Z32. what a pain in the ass. but it was oh sooooo worth it!!! previous owner put about 1.5" of mud over a gnarly dent and called it a day. when i got hit in same shot. taht whole sheet of mud cracked and popped. i had to quarter my car to fix it with fresh oem metal. i bought 2 quarter panels before i got one that was clean and rust and bondo free. headache. fuck yes... worth it... fuck yes!!!! she sounds healthy as shit balls. thats good!!! def worth he cosmetic hel to get here rite
i also did what said owner before did, i did bondo but i quickly knew i wasn't gonna like that choice in the long run but the end goal is to get a roller chassis with no engine or trans. sand blast the whole thing to bare metal, paint the chassis & transfer everything from my Z into it. my Z is pretty nice but the body damage extended further into the chassis & has more hidden damage than not so were gonna get the most out of it this summer then during the winter we plan to stRT the process of restoring an old clean title chassis with the good parts on my car.
@04:25 that rad shroud it more often then not, due to shot motor mounts, when the motor mounts fail, they split in half, and the motor will now be able to twist in the engine bay under hard acceleration, this twist will lift the motor allowing the clutch fan to hit the top inner side of fan shroud and rub it away to nothing, you def need to look into doing motor mounts on her before you replace the shroud, if the mounts werent already done. that way the nice carbon one doesent meet the same fate as the oem plastic one.
