Stop letting yourself be disrespected miyn, you're intelligent and your opinion should be appreciated. If you were the one calling Larry an idiot it would be a whole different story....
That's quite an equivocation. It depends on what you mean by similarity, it depends on if you're talking about the entire genome, it depends on if you're talking about the sequences that code for proteins, etc. Without the proper context you can't just say "humans and bananas share 50% of their DNA." I've heard similar statements like this from evolution deniers. They say stuff like humans and sea sponges share 70% of their DNA, which is only true in a very limited sense that pertains to the y chromosome.
***** this is all true, but I'm fairly certain it's the whole genome, so I'll make that correction. It may seem like a substantial amount, but what makes us different is not entirely the possession of different genes; it's the differences in the expression of the same genes.
what miyn is saying is that humans would all look the same to another species, just like they all look the same to us. It's the same with animals. All animals of a specific species look incredibly similar, there are just relatively small phenotypic differences.
The white walkers will gain troops as they do battles while the men will loose men..so by the time the white walkers got to kings landing they would probably be twice as big or more
Spider-Man was always a vigilante from the very beginning of his original conception. He didn't actually become a Super Hero until he found his uncle's killer, realizing that his uncle's words, "with great power comes great responsibility" actually meant something. He didn't care about others until his uncle's killer was dead.
I ain't saying that I don't have a soul, but I am saying, that it's been a long time since I actually cried. Maybe cried into tears or something, but on an emotional level, I never actually did tear up. I guess.. with everything that happened in my life, it's just harder for me to express my emotions out. But, yeah there you go.
Larry had a point with The Amazing Spiderman Uncle Ben Death scene. Uber realized this and decided to say that it's irrelevant because he didn't want to admit Larry had valid point.
it looks like with the Justice League film they are going with the new initial 52 line up which is Batman, Superman, Wonder Women, Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg.
