This is a critical lesson to african leaders to understand the business culture & attitude of the west . Africa now hooked up on climate change issues yet they did not polute. Next motive from the west is asking african gov to particate in solving climate change issues caused by the west during colonial period. Use of battery operated vehicles is not making africa better but is making african economies tied-up on western companies who are manufacturing lithium batteries and sale them back to africans . African economies must continue use of cheap natural energy resources(oil, coal etc).
Our leaders are quite foolish. No western nation will ever abolish visas for an African and fact is that visa regimes were created in the 1950s and 1960s when African nations were getting independence. The idea behind establishment of visa regimes was targeted solely on Africans, to restrict and control their movements outside of Africa. Why some president would remove Kenya's visa regime is beyond me. Kenya should reciprocate its visa regime... not do away with it. Asking the whole world to enter Kenya at will and stay indefinitely is self-defeating and dangerous, and doing so in a country that has never resolved its land issues since independence, and how poorly it manages and develops its land

Africa needs industrial innovation bearing in mind that western technogical transfer will not free so this is time for african leader to create technical innovation and stop begging from the West.
