Thanks for sharing- Not sure how that is relevant to this discussion but it is super cute that you are participating. When you grow up are you going to be a Marine or stay a puddle pirate? Does the Navy know you have access to a keyboard? Maybe you guys could do a video on what it is like to almost be a sailor.

+Josiah Payne Well I'm an 0311, B billet 8152 and went to a MARSOC brief the other day which doesn't really mean anything but still it's possible. Have to wait until I get to a V unit for a year then go from there.

im sure that they can be qualified to be snipers. but can't get behind the scope, maybe as a scout team leader.

David Onyx Marine officers in an 0302 or 0203 who are Captains and below may attend scout sniper school and scout sniper unit leader's course if they want to become scout sniper platoon commanders. That does not mean that they're going to be in a dedicated sniper role. That's what the enlistedman is for.

Officers go through the Sniper school to understand a sniper's capabilities. Can't win wars if you have no idea the potential of your men.

They are using an M110 SASS. You cannot build an ar replica. The rifle costs about $8000. Its a .308 semi auto sniper. If you want a military grade SASS you should get either an MK12 or an M1a EBR. Both are superb firearms that are still in use. I wouldnt suggest building either of them however. They are both heavily accurized firearms. You really need to know what youre doing. If you want a really nice ar10 look into an LMT .308 with an 18-20" barrel. It will do everything an m110 can do.
