Wow. Simply WOW. Speechless. What a wonderful and beautiful song. Is so sad and at the same time all these new songs they seem such a triumph.... Such a great duet, congrats and hugs to the band.

That last line... 'Auntie Carly singing lullabys to the children that she never made'... my goodness... real passion and depth to this song... there is a reason why you have listened to this song today.. we are all on a journey. Sadly David's has ended but Im sure you can see towards the end of this song, he is captivated by the poignancy and depth to Carly's performance on her debut Big Big Train song. I hope that Greg and the other band members, Sarah and all the support team find the strength to go forward. No one is or could ever replace David, that is fact but maybe there is a reason to continue with BBT, David would want that surely? However I am sure like any of us, we would want Greg and the team doing anything unless they felt it was the right thing to do and its been said many times, we, the passengers will support the remaining and new members of BBT in whatever they want to do. We love you all dearly and continue to mourne the loss o dear David. Goodness, how much I would love to have met him and shook his hand, just to say hello. I hope one day that I could meet Greg, Rikard, Nick D'V and the new band members too and shake their hands. That would be a Big Big Treat 😁 RIP David ❤❤

Seeing this performance and songwriting with Carly makes me wish more so that BBT continues even though David Longdon's loss is so huge. I believe the band still has a lot of strength left.

The new album arrived in the post today. Beautiful red vinyl. I've had it on twice so far. There's a little bit of a move away from the pastoral English scenes that they've painted in several of their previous albums but this is nothing short of an absolute triumph! There isn't a single weak point to mention. Very sad that David Longdon has passed on with, undoubtedly, much still to offer. But his previous contributions will be fondly remembered for a very long time. This album can be a new dawn for BBT. It's fresh and exciting, vigorous and demanding of attention while retaining its mature delivery style by musicians who are at the top of their game. This is one of the best things they've done. Congrats to all.

Beautifully filmed by Beyond Infinity, even more touching following David's tragic death. I don't know why, but the teddy bear on the pew was very touching, a nice detail to add to the emotion of the song. RIP Mr Longdon, you had so much left to give, but we comfort ourselves with your legacy.

Bit different . Love the band , but thought they had lost their way before David passed.

Skilled performance, but it felt it was trying to be a lot more than it was. And lyrically a little tough to listen to. Acoustics were nice though, and I like being able to hear David again.
