@@FightingFurball That's right. We have a twink, guys wearing skirts or no skirts, a bear man weirdo, some lion guys cosplaying and another guy who wants to be a... Mother of Fingers?! :O

I now actually wonder how post-enlightenment Po would win Elden Ring. Lots of dodging I suspect, but... what is the most interesting attack he'd reflect right back at the enemy?
Yeah, that first moment when you step out to see the Scadutree and the music comes in... It's magical. And then you immediately run through a town of emos and get bodied by an angry basket. 10/10 best game, best DLC, no comp
It's hilarious how we got Malenia and Shadow of the Erdtree before Radagon and the Elden Beast. Watch the Guy just one-shot the final boss because of how over-leveled he will be by that point.
For this beginning to be 100% accurate, all that was missing was the damn scare with those lunar owls. The scare I got from that wasn't even close to anything in the RE franchise, that's a real jump scare.
I went through the entire DLC, searched that forest near the starting area a few times looking for a missing scadu tree fragment and now I realize I never even spotted the crazy cat guy
You can quickly see a sad crying bright ghost wgeb the time changes from 0:07 to 0:08? I believe that's our will to live for all players who started the DLC
I was calling them random words starting with S until I finally heard the right pronunciation lol Apparently it's pronounced "Shad-ew" alternate old way of saying shadow, same deal as the Siofra River being pronounced "Show-fra" River
Man I've been following you since Hero storm series It's kinda sad that the game is dead now I had a lot of fun! thank you for expanding your animations to other genres as well :)
Sword Art Online melody in the beginning was perfect 🤣💚 This game is ironically best representation of SAO's books game mechanics, while being from same publisher that has the license for the series but never approached this level
@@hirotashi5950They're an absolute chore to take down though. Might as well just look up which tears they drop and run past the ones you don't need, if you can.
I also ran past them after killing the first one in gravesite. Now I kill them because they actually are really easy. Preferably don't use colossal weapons or torrent(use to get close) on the non armored ones and go for a faster weapon and get off 2-3 light attacks, not sure if they require a certain amount of hits, maybe around 20-25. Jump on the single step flames and block the double step flames cause you can't really jump dodge those. Armored Furnace Golems just need at least 2-3 Vortex Jars inside its head from a vantage point. First jar should stagger and then just keep on throwing them in.
@@SK-lw8ud It's not a certain amount of hits the furnace golems need, you just need to break their stance 3 times. Colossal Weapons are extremely good at breaking an enemy's stance, though they are slower so you'd have to be more reactive than a light weapon might. However, there are 3 moves which it gives a good opening for a heavy attack. The grab, the arm swipes, and if you know it's near stance break, the single stomp. While its staggered, any hits won't build up stance damage. I used Great Stars in the run I beat the DLC on, and even had the ability to land a Prayerful Strike with it during the arm swipes. So while I don't currently have a save to test it (defeated all the golems), I'm certain that you can even land a Heavy Colossal Weapon attack on them.
@@Killrbladez Stone Club with Cragblade does it faster than all colossals funnily enough, and you don't even heavy attack using it vs them (it's slower, dismount heavy jump attacking off torrent is okay though). The buff to attack speed on axes/hammers they did right before the DLC puts in work here lol. You don't even have to dodge until you're working on the poise break that knocks them down (outside of bad rng)
0:04 Welcome to Gravesite Plain. The first area of SOTE DLC. It has lots of graves and it's a Plain... You can figure out the rest. 0:08 Main source of annoyance you will find at first are those shades that often just cry. Those are probably shades of Hornsent or just any people that were killed in this Lands history. This entire Shadow area once was part of Lands Between overall but it was hidden by Marika after she had her son Burn it to the ground. Reason for that I will get to later. 0:19 On the map that is not yet unlocked seek the pillars that are showing where the map fragment is. But be careful here. They are tricky to find and sometimes are used as bait. 0:27 Karma farming 0:38 Speaking of bait. One of the most annoying and tricky enemies to kill in the DLC. Curseblade, hides on the way to the first map fragment. 0:42 It's very, very goddamn annoying. This MF is quick, agile, hits hard and for some reason gives less runes than ALBUNARICS, you know. The barely threatening frog dudes. Why? 0:48 And this is a Furnace Golem and you will hate him. The main weapon used by Messmer to Burn Lands of Shadow. His face is embodiment of Hornsent fears and in that basket on top of it's head is a body of a dragon and across it's entire corpse are human and Hornsent and horses alike stuck in it. They did not discriminate here in their murderous rampage. 0:56 It also has ridiculous agro range and can either kick fire rocks at you, fire a flame tornado at you or send meteor shower. May as well turn off your computer at this point. 0:59 Cragblade is an art of war covering your blade in rock. Very good. You can find it by killing scarab in Caelid. 1:05 those things are HUGE. 1:11 and in close quarters they can either stomp or jump. Because of course they can. 1:13 which also creates aoe that kills you and everything you love and cherish and a bit more. Jump over those with Torrent. But do not get hit by his feet. It will hurt. 1:15 and this is your life for next 5 minutes. No joke. These things are NOT fun. They are poster boys of this DLC and they are such a goddamn chore to fight. I hate them with a Passion. It's not even THAT hard. It's just stupid and you cannot make a mistake. My advice? Respec to using an incantation called Pest Threads. It fires several projectiles and it will get it down faster. Because it's not damage that counts here. It's the amount of hits. Also those things have a billion health. 1:21 They will wobble twice before going down on their face. Also they have a grab attack that one shots you if they get you on foot. Fun... Do you know what that is Fromsoft? 1:30 And of course remember to line yourself up so you can even hit it's face once it's down. Otherwise you are out of luck. But if you can there is a piece of advice. You can find in this DLC recipe for Hefty Furnace Pot. When you throw it into the basket it will deal to this walking flaming trashcan TONS of damage. So do it quickly after you hit it's face. Granted aiming in this game sucks so... Good luck. 1:41 I wish it was that easy. But I guess we needed a happy ending. Also from it you get a tear for Mix flask that gives you Sekiro ripostes for 5 minutes so it's... Worth it... At least this one. Others... Eh... Depends. 1:48 This NPC you can find closer to south of Plains in a forest. Usually at night. This one drops Beast claws. A weapon outclassed in this DLC by the only other one in it's underwhelming new category. I say don't bother unless you want to get everything. 2:01 That's not a joke. In this DLC there are items called Scadu fragments that will increase damage you deal and decrease damage you take... It's... Flawed mechanic because it really screws with balance of this DLC. They ar fragments of that twisted Dark Tree called Scadu Tree. Now it is actually supposed to be pronounced Shadu Tree, but it's never said out loud by anyone and let's be honest we all hear Skadoosh here... Or Skibidi, depending on how much brainrot you contracted on the internet. If you use the latter one I have a remedy for that. Get outside. Touch Grass and try to say the name without saying that accursed Word. Maybe you can overcome this curse. Unlike me. Welcome to Shadow of the Erd Tree. I am bitter and so will you be. Trust me.
Was anyone else a bit surprised at all of the shrieking birds near the start of the DLC? I kept going near the little stone tower things and kept being surprised when it would shriek
O, but one can finally get a lover in the DLC, by going the alternative route with the dragon communion quest line, and then roofie a dragon. The descriptions of the items you get by doing so clearly indicates that Florissax becomes your dragon GF (eg.: "[...] Long ago, Florissax assumed human form to share Dragon Communion with the world. Now, she has acquired a human heart."). I hope to see this on an episode one day, because despite how odd of a way it was to make someone fall in love with you, it was still really wholesome.
Thank you. The "OMG this is beautiful" followed by the "twirly blade cyclone of doom" ripping me apart exactly captured the first two minutes of the DLC.
Man, that Furnace Golem's weakspot getting stuck out of reach brings back memories. I had the exact same thing happen to me the very first time I fought one of these guys... (YOU DIED followed soon after)
@@Lead_Foot Welp maybe I wouldn't have missed him if the Shadowrealms wouldn't be so... dark all the time. 😏 And I already moved only during daytime if possible. But hey, there were tree's too and before I knew it this guy came at me out of nowhere then. Didn't even figure out where his "startingpoint" is.
