I remember going here all the time when I was younger, I had regular appointments because of heart problems/complications and I had knee braces so I couldn't walk till I was 4-5 years old. They have helped a lot and the people are friendly. I'd recommend going here.
A baby was rushed to this hospital years ago. A young woman in the back of an ambulance, holding her very sick four month old had her baby whisked away. The baby's pediatrician had said her daughter had pneumonia. It turned out to be bacterial meningitis, one of the most serious types of meningitis. The doctors and nurses of Children's Hospital Pittsburgh busted their buns to help this baby girl, even placing an IV in the baby's head when her veins kept collapsing. The outlook was bleak, and sorry to be so descriptive but....the baby survived. How do I know? No, I wasn't the mother. I was the baby. Thanks to this AWESOME hospital, I'm in my forties, the mother of four, and I became a grandmother for the first time back in March (my grandbaby being born just a day shy of my own birthday). I truly believe that there are some angels in this world. Thank you Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh!

I continue to receive services for my beloved son that you people have total part for his life!!!!! From the bottom of our hearts the Crable family....thank you everyone!!!!!
Mary Anne I was a patient at children’s hospital of Pittsbugh when it was stil in Oakland, i was a patient there from the 80’s all the way up to my last hospitalisation there in September of 1994. I got my shunt there in 1985
People who work in places such as this are truly amazing people. My heart goes out to all of the families that have to visit such places. However, in the Bible we are promised that one day pain and suffering and illness will be done away with. Revelation 21:4: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” This is a promise from Jehovah God.
Is children hospital free for children around the world or just USA. I know a young girl from Belize needs surgery to remove a tumor from her head. I saw them post it on Facebook. I remember children hospital.
