@@culu37what I hated is how they went to make it all religious as it slowly gravatated towards the implication none of it were true, which, is fine, but if you're going to make a comedic mockery of christianity atleast have it canon within the movie.

theres contractual differences between credited and uncredited actors, with various circumstances to their use. basically, its not a diss if someone who had a cameo isnt credited, it may have been deliberate, say even by rudd or his agent specifically

THis makes me want to see the whole movie again, i remember how i felt, not all the jokes land in the movie, but i appreciate the effort and creativity, and mixture of "low brow and high btow" humor! Ramis was trying to do a Mel Brooks style Jewish lampoon...but he likely went too far for the Hollywood management set. Brooks got away with it because his were little skits...playfully joking about Moses or Adam...and he focused primarily on mocking Hitler or Germany...which got him a pass. This film was quite good farce, but it was unrelenting. The Abraham and Isaac sequence was likely too far even for a secular but cultural son of Abraham.

I filled in for Paul Rudd in a scene where supposedly he gets revenge on David’s character. They filmed me from the back with a wig on raising a stone to drop on his head. Everyone was a pleasure to work with. Funny thing is a few years later I booked my first lead in a Christian independent film and we used the exact same set.😂
