Perdon, to our passionate teachers, to the staffs and other essential people that were part of the BRPCSI family and of course, to us students, who were finally taking the last step in our Senior High school journey. It is my honor to represent the graduates in welcoming you to this exceptional graduation ceremony 2020-2021 with the theme "DSOB: Gifted to Give Innovative Catholic Education in the Time of Pandemic and Beyond".
Today is a significant day to witness the fruit of the countless nights and days of hard work from both teachers and students. I do believe that the expedition we have made couple of years ago were strenuous. We have encountered a lot of difficulties which tested our strengths and capabilities not just as students or teachers, but as human beings as well. And it doesn’t end there, because everything worsen due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, that brought drastic changes within our lives. It changed everything, from the way we live to the huge aspects of society wherein educational system was included. Of course, as humans, we have no choice but to be innovative and flexible in order to cope up with the strange happenings. We need to create our own lights during the darkest times.
Everything happens for a reason, and I guess we’re all aware to that. Despite of the darkness of a matter, a bright array of light will always be a portion of it. Imagine if the pandemic didn't happen, we will not grow our mindsets this far, that's why , this pandemic is still a blessing in disguise.
And now, before I end this speech, I would like to leave an inspiring phrase to all of you that my mother told me when I was in a younger age. "Your life is like a paper, you can draw anything you want, you can crumple it, or you can make wonderful origamis out of it. Now it's your choice whether to create the best life or a life full of "pwede na to". Remember, life may be unfair in some ways, but you can control it to make it favorable and convenient for you." Choose wisely my co students. Don’t forget that Rizal said “Kabataan and pag-asa ng bayan”. Let us all kill the existence of the word disappointment! Padayon my batch mates! Congratulations to all of us, God bless and keep safe!
Once again, welcome to the SHS Graduation Ceremony of BRPCSI SY 2020-2021.
