Oh I totally agree with the state of this world. I continue to have a peaceful and slow paced life as much as I can, this world is not my forever home which is where I try to stay focused on. I am so thankful that someone that I watch consistently FINALLY addressed our current climate in this country. We travel full time so, you kinda feel like one of my only "friends" so-to-speak. Lol. I have found myself wondering what anyone else with our lifestyle thinks or has to say about the situation we're in and the possible threats that come with this upcoming election. We are NOT political in any way anymore because none of them hold true to Godly values and morals. But, unfortunately, we're still seeing the effects of those who are buying into the chaos being put into play.
Absolutely! I try to be very intentional about what I share and pray into it. If the spirit leads, I’m willing to say what needs said. I’m praying for the candidates, I’m still voting praying for guidance. I know ultimately, God will make a way for His will to be done. P.s. we are totally friends ☺️🤗❤️

I love the message of this video! Thank you so much for putting yourself out there. There is so much doom and gloom and panic about things these days, and I’m not downplaying the seriousness of the hour at all. However, I think of that old song, “Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace”. If we make Him big in our lives, the seemingly big world will not overwhelm us. This place we live in is temporary and doesn’t deserve the attention we sometimes give it. The more we focus on Jesus and lift Him up, the more of a light we can be to this struggling world. Your home and decorating style remind me of Lisa Bass’ on Farmhouse on Boone. It’s somewhat colonial, warm and comforting while still being beautiful. The mantel decorations turned out to reflect an abundant harvest season, very pretty! I like the candles. PS. I did receive the blouse from neuflora. I don’t wear it as well as you, but I do love it. I’m thinking of how to make it a little less revealing, since I am old enough to be your mother(at least!). I have accumulated too much decor and sadly don't have time or energy to decorate as I want. Last year I made some fall wreaths and I hope to bring them out. My Dad would take dried grasses and cut flowers, especially Hydrangeas and hang them upside down until completely dry. Once dry he would cover them in hairspray. The hairspray will help them to stand up tall and keep their petals without being shiny.

What a lovely and peaceful video. Like you I am also not a big pumpkin spice girl 😗. When you said, “our coffee is on the lighter side” I had a brief moment of ‘huh’? Then I laughed because there has been a joke around here that ‘some’ like to have a little coffee with their cream 🤣 I haven’t had cream in my coffee for a year + or so. Lately though, I’ve really had an urge to have creamer. Making my own creamer blends has always been on the list but somehow hasn’t gotten done. I know my hubby will especially enjoy this creamer so I’ll have to see about whipping up a batch. Last night I picked up my Azure order and one of the things I bought was A2/A2 milk powder and a bottle of A2/A2 whole milk. I am mostly dairy free but I do have it occasionally and when I do I try to be mindful of what I’m consuming. I’m thinking I might also try making a homemade shelf stable version of creamer. This is a busy preserving weekend for me. I’ve got 3 boxes of tomatoes to get through and some fruit for pie fillings and jam as well. I’m still hoping we will get apples to finish up the seasonal canning. I’m ready to wrap up all the garden and canning projects and rest from that work for a bit.
