Retipping an amethyst in 18ct yellow gold using the Lampert PUK 3 Professional Plus welder on Standard 7ms 30% power. It's fast, strong and requires less cleaning up work than soldering tips on with the stone out. The amethyst was not marked and the claws only need to be shaped afterwards.
