The woman that Floor is singing to is Emma Heesters. At this point in her career, she was a RU-vid cover artist, but since this show, her career has taken off. In addition to being beautiful, Emma has an incredible voice. When Floor is the one being sung to, Emma sings a song called "Strong" thaat Floor wrote about her mother. It's an emotional song and Emma does it justice. Emma also does a *great* duet with Henk Poort called "Vivo Per Lei." There's a sweet father/daughter vibe to their performance. I highly recommend both songs.

As people say: "Floor could sing the phonebook". Well, she actually did !! A couple of months later in a radio show, they asked her to do this and she really did. There is a little video made of it.

Floor CAN sing blues/jazz...Nightwish has the song, "Slow Love, Slow" that is in the vein of those genres that she sings AMAZINGLY. She did a very nice rendition in her solo show recorded live at Amsterdam, with the Beste Zangers "house band", the Michael Fisser Band, backing her up. She also has recently released a solo album that is not metal, some would call it "pop"... Floor says 'it's not metal, it's not pop, it's just Floor... ' a VERY inspirational song-filled album. I recommend the title track, "My Paragon" - you can view it from her YT channel. I would recommend the music video version, nicely filmed with representations of a child, teen and current Floor.
Oh yes, they (the people around) are all singers... and Henk Poort? Last of these episodes (the duetts) is the wery first time they sung together, the Phantom of Opera (by them) premiered that night! And they found the colaboration so interresting, that they are working together (ocassionally) ever since then...
The show takes several singers from different genre and in each episode one is placed central on the couch. They share stories and the others sing a song that has a meaning for the central person. It can be an own song or a song that remembers to a happening. So there is fun and a lot of emotional feelings going on. The last episode is a duet episode where each singer has to choose one of the others to do a duet. The beauty of this concept is that because all singers are from different music genres it is sometimes needed to stap out their own music comfort zone or change the song into their music comfort zone. Tim Akkerman did sing the Nightwish song Nemo in a pop/rock version and Rolf Sanchez did sing Hotel California in a latin version. He also did a wonderful version of All by my self.
Most people go "gaga" (sorry for the pun) when Floor goes to the high part...I melt into a puddle when she sings the "...I'm fahhhhh-lin'..." part... so deep and velvety.
