Using a Lampert PUK 3 jeweller's welder to weld a 9ct yellow gold pendant ring on an old pendant. The welder was set to Micro 5ms 12% power. The soot produced by the weld is easily removed using a dry brush to avoid getting water near the photo and then using a wire brush in the drill to brighten the ring up.
