Welding in New Structural Supports, finding a good Paint Stripper, and a Mustang Chassis update!

Happy Tuesday all! In this video, I find a GOOD Paint Stripper! Seriously, not many out there any more. I also fix the Puncture Holes in the floor pan from the aux fuel tanks, prep, paint and weld in the new Rocker Boxes so we can cruise in style without the top on the Blazer, without the massive body flex caused by removing them. Also a quick update on the chassis....will I ever get it?????

Excellent point, the Paint Stripper was significantly harsh, and the Epoxy Primer was also a bit strong. I have good ventilation in the shop, and the large fan helps but I should have absolutely been wearing a mask! Thank you for the props!

BV2! They’re waiting on parts, but it should be ready soon. All the machine work is complete! I don’t need it yet, so I haven’t been bugging them. I need the axles, and they should be ready soon.

Did you treat all of the metal with something after blasting it while you worked on it to prevent rust?

No, but the climate here is very very dry. It needs a bit more body work and then I will condition it before spraying epoxy primer.

No worries, and I totally understand the treatment part. I lived in san diego for a long time, every car I stripped I had to epoxy prime immediately. I usually paid the blaster to prime it, it was a service they offered.
