Man those starts are effortless, unfortunately my struggle with stick welding is getting/keeping my arc going. I unfortunately don’t have an outlet or generator that can consistently supply my amperage needs.
I have strikes that arc at least a million if not more times I finally got it but hey I stick it at times too but I totally understand not enough power source try small rods if that’s the case
@@TheWeldProfessor I find that 3/32 rods run best for me but I have to do a lot more passes to fill the gaps. I end up using more weight of rod than a thicker rod. I can run reverse polarity 60amp for 6011 1/8 rods once it starts just fine but the arc fights to stay lit.
