Hi Matt. I am part of a model engineering society. When I joined I was told that if I asked a question I would get 50 different answers and each person would be adamant their answer was the correct one. I love the fact you decide to do something then stick to it. You don’t need to justify why dude. Best wishes from sunny England.

For shooting some x ray code shots, we use a wooden ruler most of the time. You can take your measurements to get your shots. But it also can help you see how the shot is going to come out. It helps you see your angles that you are trying to get. Thats cuz its straight and radiation works like light. So it helps you see how the shot will come out on the film.

I never thought of it, a stick ruler makes a lot of sense. Those welds look great! Sounds like you you need a ceiling winch/hoist to lift the heavy stuff. You certainly have the welding and metal skills to make something work. Really great job done on the prep/paint. You took it to the next level !

I would recommend making some cardboard walls for the garage door when it’s partially open and a torpedo heater

Future insight propane burner produces moisture. those diesel rv heaters off of amazon work awesome I have 2 in my garage and they get up to 75 degress in about 2 hours i get it to around 60 degrees and shut down to 1 heater and turn down the power and keeps it more then comfortable.

Time to add a cheap diesel heater to that garage! Just search 5kw diesel RV heater. Don't get an 8kw. Those are just 5kw heaters that are turned up to 11 and they'll wear out fast.

I like his style. He cuts holes in his truck and does not like them. Most people would just live with it. No, he takes it to the next level and welds steel over the top it to make it something he likes! He's a welding/fab animal!🙂
