Hmm sort of like how Amandla Stenberg was attacked constantly and then calmly responded on her personal page which led to Theory mocking her and saying she was having a meltdown? Theory was a loser growing up and now that he has a large youtube following, he has taken on this weird bully role and cries when people call him out on his shit. Karma karma karma, Theory needs THERAPY.

@@Zan_Jayna What you're saying is kinda true. Although rich people sue all the time, literally for anything because better lawyers. And that's why he can sue. It amazes me that they don't just, you know, try and make decent Star Wars... As long as it's actually Star Wars, let's be honest, GL wasn't exactly Shakespeare, most fans will be happy.
@rector0455 yeah, while most fans will dunk on the prequels or even episode VI because the ewoks instead of wookies thing, we just want a decent story with interesting characters. It wouldn't be that hard to make the majority of fans happy but they (disney) seems he'll bent on abandoning the fans, the stories, and characters, for their own "modern" brand which at the end of the day isn't star wars. It's something akin to star wars but like the uncanny valley it's clear it's a mockery of the genuine article and therefor is mostly hated. Some people can simply just consume, and good for their smooth brains, the rest of the Fandom would like something worthy of it's namesake.
This is what I find so baffling. They have a selection of REALLY good movies that do a fantastic job being very inclusive and having the celebration of other cultures around the world without any of the writing or characters feeling ham-fisted and forced. It's all through fantastic story writing that gets you to connect to the character and really feel it. Yet they can't manage to do the same thing while still being true to the Star Wars universe. Bro.
Funny how those of us they tar with those labels enjoyed House of the Dragon and Arcane. I guess we just don't like strong women only in Star Wars, whatever logic there is there. Also funny that we're the r@cists when we're the only ones who brought up Finn being shrunk on the movie posters in China.

Probably not.
As a Hispanic man (non-white), I absolutely hated the Acolyte!! Does that make me a racist? I honestly don’t like much of the Disney stuff either. Mandalorian and Andor are the only good shows. Ahsoka was alright not anything great. Movie wise I really liked Rogue One. The rest has been a let down. That’s my opinion.
You made a really good point that the fans of the Acolyte mostly just care about “representation” and they see the story, characters, lore, etc. as secondary. To “steel-man” their argument, they probably think representation is more important than Star Wars or any other sci-fi/fantasy IP. They think they can co-opt these existing franchises as vehicles for their agenda. While some aspects of their agenda may have merit, they’re making 2 major mistakes with this strategy, especially as it pertains to current Lucasfilm under KK: 1. When you take something that millions of people love and disregard what they love about it, twisting it into something else, they’re going to be pissed off and whatever message you’re trying to get across will not be well-received. This isn’t a good way to convince anyone of anything. 2. Kathy’s Lucasfilm is not just trying to advance representation. KK has a massive ego and wants to make a point of shitting on the original Lucas Star Wars, especially the male heroes of Luke and Anakin. You may have seen the crossed out pictures of Luke in the Lucasfilm office. I think the lore-breaking moment that pissed people off the most in the acolyte was the “double immaculate conception” that seemed like it was there to one-up the chosen one. If you care about representation that’s fine, but this is about Kathy’s ego. She doesn’t really give a shit about anything else, (probably, allegedly)
Yup, Paul is just getting into the pathetic woke side more and more, just watch all his tweets crying about Acolite, or even Concord getting dusted into the trash, both clearly garbage and he was being a sucker lol
I recently attended a very brief online course on how to boost confidence for presentations, and the lecturer has a PhD, is a teacher, I can't remember what certifications he has in psychology.. anyway, what he said was "You can't change the world. That would be a bit much. But you can change the way you think." These people clearly want to change the world, instead of changing how they think. They want everyone to like their show, instead of acknowledging the fact that majority of the people did not like this show. It does not make us racist. It was poorly written, poorly acted, poorly designed show. Nobody wants to watch television to be LECTURED. We want to be entertained!
The lies are getting too much. You should take them to court, and to quote Thrawn, “they will be the architects of their own destruction”. Honest to god theory, you should get a lawyer to start documenting stuff.
@@Zan_Jayna That's if he chooses to sue for any financial losses. At present what he is pointing out is bullying, harassment and defamation, which is different from just not liking someone and can be successfully addressed in court.

I can't get over how bad the writing is in Tassi's articles. Also I'm not surprised he's getting things wrong because I've seen him do it before. I don't care if he has different opinions and Forbes gives him a platform - but I would think they should care about basic fact checking and being able to write coherent sentences.
My dad said, don't pick on people, you never know who you're fighting. Brother, you got a lot of friends on your side, a lot of different people with different jobs and resources. For what it's worth, I support you.
What really happened is that The Acolyte was so bad that it exposed the Disney shills for being shills. The other shows had some defendable aspects, but not The Acolyte. Since there was nothing to defend, the shills had to rely on ad hominem in a vain attempt to defend the show.
I think The Acolyte just represents what their morality is like. Headland said Sol was evil for saying it was okay that Osha killed him, because he was impugning on her agency while getting choked to death. I don't expect better from someone who looked the other way while working for a monster.
The real issue with modern journalism? It often feels one-sided. Too many outlets push the narrative/side they prefer, instead of presenting both sides fairly without any bias.
I got this feeling that a big lawsuit is about to brew. Forbes keeps bringing up the Acolyte hate, but not the reasons why or the specifics. Edit: WE ARE THE SENATE!
@@Thed538dhsk Forbes is basically not seeing the full picture and keep saying the same thing behind the Acolyte failing, which they're blaming to be the RU-vidrs' fault. Tassi isn't a journalist...he's an opinion columnist. So, let's call him what he actually is rather than elevate him to a level that has some sort of journalistic shield.
Take them to court. Don’t let them get away with this. So many “journalists” today more like activists, will bring up those they agree with and slander those they don’t. Long gone are those days of true journalism. Never has our freedom of speech been so under attack in broad daylight and people aren’t getting the justice they deserve.
This Forbes journalist needs to let go. They've been at this for like weeks now. The Acolyte was just a bad show, nothing more. We're with you, Theory. Keep being strong brother 💪
This is representative of one of social media’s biggest issues. One that Mike Tyson said perfectly. “Social media made y’all comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched for it.”
Yeah, but you know what? I'm starting to think that if we didn't have social media, we also wouldn't know a lot of the things that we do know, but I agree that that we should go back to 19th century dueling, where somebody says something that you don't like you challenge him to a duel. And it doesn't have to be a duel to the death. Just a quick 5 minute boxing mess. Match, you don't get to just talk disrespectfully to another man and get away with it. But if we can sit and have an intellectual conversation and be respectful of each other, nobody would be in a risk of being challenged to a duel...what do you think? Lol
The fact that you aren’t allowed to question the media without being labeled far right and every -ist and -phobe label is one of the biggest problems in America nowadays.

That's the only power these weirdos have. They were allowed to infest social media and entertainment unprovoked for a few years and entrench themselves. They still have blind numbers but since they never support anything beyond social media clicks, they're starting to phase out
I find it bizarre they keep jabbing at theory about the personal emails. I mean, the gloves are off with theory responding after SWexplained and his wife tried to deplatform him. Theory responded in kind. This whole situation is a huge Bullying 101 case. It's awful what is happening to SWTheory.
This just goes to show that Forbes needs to fire this psuedo journalist, tarnishes their reputation as a site but also makes me wonder fully when is Mollie losing all of her assets through legal ramifications? Very confused how she and her doormat are able to do such heinous acts unhindered. Very sad and makes me worried for even saying opinions anymore out of fear of death threats.
When I see these people always screaming about everyone else being “racists”, “bigots”, and “phobes”, I remember a Raylan Givens quote from “Justified”. “If you meet an asshole in the morning, you met an asshole. If you keep meeting assholes all day, you’re probably the asshole.” Unfortunately, self examination isn’t their strong suit.
Quite honestly, this is really simple; This is all Mollie. She is a covert narcissist. She has surrounded herself with sycophants. She uses them like tools, like golf clubs, drawing out the one she thinks is right for the situation. Sometimes it is with what she thinks is clever nuance, sometimes it is just bludgeoning. But she is bad at golf. Not nearly as clever as she believes herself. Having been raised by and around narcissists, it is very clear to me every single part of her personality is like an textbook narcissist; it is all carefully curated to appeal. That appeal is power. And I can almost 100% guarantee in private she uses it to verbally and emotionally bludgeon her spineless husband into doing what she wants.

Has anyone simply stopped and asked why when it comes to bad writing in StarWars it’s all of a sudden a“fan” issue? How could it be just the StarWars fandom when for a while now large corporations have been destroying lore-filled franchises left and right; for Phase5 Marvel such as She-Hulk etc (Disney), shitting on lore in LOTR: Rings of Power (Amazon), The Witcher (Netflix), after season-6 of Game of Thrones (HBO). It’s not surprising that these mega-corporations continue to dismantle good lore and substitute it for forced “woke” moments and undermining delicate lore. It’s literally not exclusive to the StarWars fandom, and yet, these twitter trolls and journalists love to pretend like it’s a StarWars fandom exclusive problem-which it’s not. **[Edit]** P.S. How could we all be “racists” if we enjoy shows such as Shogun which is also on Disney. But for some reason The Acolyte is failing. It’s almost as if race isn’t the problem. It comes down to the quality of writing.
I've commented before, but I am an outsider who enjoys keeping tabs on media. When I noticed the differences in the Rotten Tomato meter after the second episode I went to see what people were actually saying about the show, knowing that Disney lies. Your character has shown throughout this entire saga and this aftermath. Likewise, the reputations of many supporters of the show has been made perfectly clear. Their behavior is disgusting, and I cannot understand for the life of me why someone would waste so much of their time and others' time over disagreements over a TV show. It's petty beyond belief. Anyway, keep up the good work. Know that there are plenty of people outside this community who see through this crap and know who the real siths are.

Thank you, so much, for getting lawyers involved. It's disgusting, it needs to stop - and normal people have no real way to defend themselves against this sort of thing.
Regardless of what you think about the Andor show. But quotes were stated: “ there is a system and it’s angry” and “ power doesn’t panic” The reason these journalists and companies have these ongoing problems is because “THE MESSAGE” - (critical drinker) was placed in *bold* within the Acolyte. But the show failed, and since “THE MESSAGE” was the main focus of the show, these people don’t seem to understand that this is not where the flaws lie. The purpose of the show was NOT to create a Star Wars story. It was to boost THE MESSAGE.
