A good representation of how this game feels on a normal consumer PC. Regardless, I hope to see it do well and improve. Drop a like if you enjoyed the video and consider Subscribing :)
i5 13600k // RTX 3080ti // DDR5 7200 ram - runs like a champ. I have had the laggy bit when first jumping in. But it feels like it spools up and runs great. But these builds are meant to be 1440 monsters. Not 4k capable for these big graphic driven games.
@@jose131991 I'm getting a smooth reasonable framerate in 4k everything on high and post process and aa on elite. Fsr is completely garbage and makes the game input lag itself unplayable.
Important to note, this is the first game this studio as made that's not a "small" mobile game, so going from mobile to the huge scope of this game and releasing it in Early access to see the issues with the game they can't account for without players first hand experience is actually great. Given enough time and this game will be a game worth playing once it is finished, specially given Tarkov just self-destructed
Looks awesome man, love the stalker content too. You should give Single player tarkov a try sometime with some of the more popular mods for it. I think you would enjoy it.
Just curious: what size is your gaming monitor? IMHO, if you're not playing on a 60'' TV-sized display, 4k res'n isn't really doing much for you. Better to get higher FPS at 1440p, which is perfectly fine on a typical (e.g., 27"), low-latency gaming display.
Devs said to use FSR for cards pre RTX 40xx series. Really helps with the frame issue. Your cpu is enough for this game cause RTX 2070 with i7-8700k @1080p with FSR on runs it at like 110 fps (game is heavy on GPU and RAM, not cpu). Tho for the 4k part... Dunno bout that
i have an i7, 3070, and 64gb RAM and my game was struggling very similar... after the hotfix they pushed yesterday it seemed to have fixed the studdering but i'm still not getting great frames no matter what I do with settings, although FSR helps it just doesn't help that much.
Got a i7 11700KF and and 3080 and mine is running just fine. Maybe lower your settings? Still beautiful on lower quality and I’m still getting 120fps on 1440. Wish you could play, the game is incredible! Looking forward to further optimization and updates.
I have a 3080, i713700kf and 32gb ram and it runs at 1440p at 120 fps with minor stutters. A friend of mine who has an almost identical build (different cpu, everything else is the same) gets 50-60 and terrible stuttering.
Well in this state as is, the game is unplayable. Seems like they wanted to cash in on the EFT controversy currently. They could've waited to fix the stutters and more optimization but perhaps now they can get some immediate feedback. Maybe wait another year for a fuller experience? All in all it looks promising. Thanks for the video Qloud!
They didn't try to cash in on eft. They were supposed to release the early access a bit earlier but it got delayed, so it's just a coincidence. They should've waited till June to get it out.
It's not unplayable, and they had a plan for launch months ago. It wasn't a cash-in on EFT, although I think even if it was good for them and fuck eft. You're a cuck if you don't realize why everyone is so pissed at EFT right now; they deserve a class action for what they are doing. The game is definitely playable. I only have a 3080 with a 12700kf and 32 GB of RAM, but the RAM isn't even the same kind of RAM speed either, and somehow, my computer handles it perfectly fine. Give them a few weeks, and the game will be optimized more. Just the fact that they are 100% transparent makes me trust them more than any other studio at this point.
I have a 9700k and 3070ti. The CPU is running at 100% which is the main part of the problem. My GPU only has 8Gb RAM which is also an issue. I lost my gear so many times that I have nothing left. At least you can start over now.
i have been playing on medium settings with balanced frs and have had legit NO problems, not a single crash yes some bugs like t posing ai or jumpy trees but its not common, i have a 3060 and a 9700k, its called stop trying to play games on max settings if your hardware cant do it reliably
Based on what you said your cpu is bottlenecking your gpu by about 30%, you want at least a 12th gen cpu for that card. A i7-13700k would be about right.
Funny you asked "why everyone looks like Batista?"... the older version of this game engine (Unreal Engine 3) had some games where everyone looked like a steroid-addicted golem mountain of muscles...
"Supporting the devs" and "being a part of the process" is cope. Buy finished games. Do NOT preorder. Early Access should be HEAVILY scrutinized. Love the content Qloud, keep it going man.
It looks like this game needs some serious optimizations. The fact it performs this bad on a 3080 is quite telling. Arma Reforger will win this battle unless they fix this performance. This is worse then Arma III.
You don't lose your gear when you crash. Log back in and you'll be at base camp with your stuff. Also, since Nvidia won't support you use AMDs FSR with frame gen quality mode and the game will run MUCH better as in 40%+ performance jump. I'm a 3080 owner, Nvidia sucks.....
I have a 3080; zero crashing happened today, and yesterday only 3 times, but two were hotfix server shutdowns. the third could have been the game, but it could have been me. A lot of the performance issues are relative to client error, or the client does not realize that UE5 is a beast of an engine, and this game looks fucking gorgeous. They are working on scaling and optimizing, but until then, let me note the following. The game is $35, which is a cheap price for a sizeable match with the potential behind it. Tarkov launched in a far worse state into "beta" and was more than $35, not to mention the BS they are doing now. If you're hoping on GZW for a flawlessly optimized, well-polished AAA game, go play Warzone instead and enjoy the headaches you get from them. If you want a fun game that needs some work and want to get involved early with the community before they get too far into development, then join the game or join Discord, and I'm sure you'll have fun.
It boggles my mind that we're in 2024 and somehow, everyone always seems to make excuses and exceptions for games launching horribly optimized. It's not just this game, it's nearly EVERY game these days. Brushing it off or ignoring it isn't making the problem go away, either. Developers need to start releasing better products. 'Early Access' either needs to just go away or stop being used as a shield for crappy performance and optimization. It's ridiculous at this point.
@@x570Belmont this game hasn't launched, it's early access. you should buy an early access game if you want to support the devs that's it. if you want a finished product wait until it officially comes out of early access
@@nuztuz903 Clearly you didn't read my comment. My opinion was Early Access needs to go away, entirely. It's nothing more than a shield being used for piss poor optimization. What was once a means for independent developers to bring in needed revenue to finish products has become a bloated mess of half finished, poorly optimized, most of the time abandoned cash grabs that overflood Steam with their poor quality. But no, by all means, continue to spend money on garbage like this. People never learn. Unless people stop giving money to crapfests like this, it'll never change. That goes for both this nonsense Early Access *and* AAA gaming. Next time, read my full comment before replying too, as it was clear you only read the first sentence and got triggered that I called this game "horribly optimized", which for all intents and purposes, is horribly optimized. Early Access should not be a shield developers get to hide behind while charging money for a half broken barely functioning product.
I generally ignore reviews of a game that are less than 6 months old. Especially in the first week, and EAs. People will review bomb games just because theyre favourite content creator had a bad time. Yes, the game is rough, its first week of public access during the games development.
@@samithonjames370 Yes you can. You're paying for a beta pre release. It's not a polished finished game. You're going to encounter issues, that's what a beta is.
@@samithonjames370 charging for beta access keeps devs funded so they can pay their staff, allowing games to get finished. if dev staff dont get paid, they have to find other work to live, which means the game gets put on the back burner. Dont wanna play buggy betas, dont buy in. your choice, not theirs.
