You know what I think would give your booth a little something- something? Get a large (vintage) table round or square and put a lace tablecloth on it and perhaps one or two chairs, kind of set up a vignette. You could put a console bowl on top and maybe some candlesticks or a place setting. That would fill up the empty space in the middle of the floor and hide the carpet that you don't like so well. Also not sure about the ceiling above if there are any ways to display one of your many hanging lamps.

I was also thinking the middle needs something...round, or at least soft corners - to fill the space and give to more display space. My other thought was to perhaps change the art. If what's there has been there a while, might be time to rotate it to the other booth, or perhaps ebay. The booth is looking great! Thanks for taking us along!

Yeah, "New things anxiety" is certainly a thing. Usually once you do the given thing, you are over it. And YES, load up with lamps! I mean, if I ever found myself at your booths I would hope to find a ''crazy lamp lady' lamp find. We all would!

I, too have 2 booth spaces in 2 malls and it’s a full time job. I have a partner who has a total of 4 booths in 3 malls with a partner. Make sense? We do most of our buying at thrift stores, garage sales being just junk! In our area of Wisconsin, Rowe salt glaze pottery is highly sought after, and we do quite well with it.

I love these behind the scenes videos!! Thank you! I had my own business for 6 years & what I did was I would help vendors set up their booths & trade show events. I had even had an endless source (still a secret :) of vintage wooden crates I would sell them & I would build shelving units for them, if desired. My business was going strong, in fact, I was ready to hire somebody to help me, but then Covid hit & I had to close it :(. Anyway, I hope Andrew feels better soon & please take care of yourself, too! My eBay store is in 2 rooms in my house - intake, listing, storage & shipping. But I don’t let things spill out into the rest of the house, except for a bag I keep out to put things that will be donated. I keep the living space mostly decluttered. I do clean items in the kitchen or bathroom, but they don’t stay there. I don’t store anything in my garage because the heat/humidity will ruin them (SE Fla). This means I can’t (at this time) do the volume that Jocelyn & Andrew are doing (or most other YT resellers). But my store has 900 items & counting (a lot of HBA) and I’m happy with that!

All these people with their well-meaning advice. 😀 I have thoughts for you too, as I also have two booths in separate locations and a warehouse full of inventory. But mostly I want to say you keep doing what is right for you. You’ve built a successful business and a happy family so far, so why change? A few tweaks as you go along will be enough. Thanks for showing the booth aspect of your business. I spent 3 hours restocking and restaging one of mine today, came out hot and thirsty but feeling satisfied and happy I get to do what I love! The booth is looking good; can’t wait to see it next time I’m at Bedford. I’m loving the Haeger console bowl on the bottom shelf! It’s funny because most customers have no idea the exhausting work involved in setting up a booth and then staging /rearranging it every time you bring in fresh merch. I’m an interior designer as my full-time job and do space planning on the daily with no issues but fitting stuff in my booths rarely goes as planned. Lots of moving, rearranging and rearranging again! 😂

I shopped at the Carlisle Antique Mall last weekend and visited your booth upstairs. I saw the wine decanter you had displayed in the window. I almost bought the same decanter at AMP in Lemoyne. Funny how things work. Your booth displays look great!

I feel your pain, Andrew! Just finished antibiotics for a gum infection under my implant that has gotten into the bone. Horrific ear, jaw pain. In a couple weeks I get to have the fun deep cleaning. Feel better soon!

That was an interesting video & you & Jesse got alot accomplished today stocking the booth! It will feel more your style as you continue to tweak the items giving them more height (with risers, boxes) & moving items around. It will be awesome to have more space at the 'shop'!

One team member down, but you get it done! I get it that it must be hard to get just the right list person but please remember to take care of yourself! We all enjoy you shopping videos but I believe we all understand the circumstances! I used to style store windows on the antiques row in a small town in upstate NY, my thought on styling the booth was a lot of open space showing off the rug! I would take items off the outside edges and bring them closer to the middle creating display space on each side! Wish I could draw a picture but maybe you will get the idea! Blessed and safe days!

I stocked my booth today, too, and it was exhausting! I really does take a lot of work when you bring in many things like you did in this video. My booth is in a combo antique/craft mall and we do a lot for holidays. I was putting in items with orange, yellow, red, and brown colors as well as many Halloween items. I brought in Halloween for the first time last week and had many sales over the weekend. I had no idea that Halloween was in demand in August! I sold a vintage cookie jar with a squirrel on top, too. Tis the season for owls and squirrels and Halloween!

Loved seeing your booth at Bedford, before and after. I think if you take that round metal tray with the teapot set that's leaning on the cart in the corner and put it on the orange shelf against the wall, it would look really great there and pop the colors.

You can see the empty spaces in the shop and it looks great. This was a fun video, looks like Jesse is a fantastic help and addition to your team. I'm sorry that your new team member will not be working there but you are right, she has to do what is best for her. I also like the way the booth turned out. When I had a booth they would text me pictures of what it looked like so I could bring what would fit. Hope Andrew's situation gets better. My wisdom teeth and 2 lower molars (cracked from being impacted) are long gone and when they were done it was a huge relief.

Congratulations. The booth is not inviting now but you'll get there, a tall glass door cabinet on the main wall will look amazing and will contain lots of nick nacks. A ladder for your quilts, maybe a round table in the middle adorned with for sale items, you can change the tablecloth seasonally. Just an idea.

I was getting anxious just listening to you describing your challenges. You did much better with that truck than I would have. Do you have consignment stores in your area? If not I suggest Next to New by Costco in Lancaster. She would buy the rug outright. They have a website where you can send Dianna pictures of items. You need tall upright display units in the center or else tall shelves around perimeter & table in middle. Andrew take time to give yourself the care you need. You're the glue that holds everything together!

At your booth I think if you add some dresser scarves and doilies under some of your larger or better finds it will perk it up a bit. Textiles really give a home like feeling. It's looking good though.

You are always so delightful Jocelyn. NO matter what the day brings your always smiling and so ready to go. The shop is looking great. And love the way your decorating your booth. As hard of a job this all is it looks fun too. Sorry that your new hire fell through but there's a reason fir everything and that lister wasn't meant to be. Perhaps you will find a exceptional lister soon. Qhen you look back in a few years you and Andrew will be thinking tonyourselves hiw did we ever do all this. Bought a house, had a baby, ran the shop etc. You and Andrew do such a great job as a team. I Agree with one of the comments you need a table in the center of that empty space.Or maybe 2 book shelves back to back.I think you need to do a section of seasonal items.But, it's getting there it looks good just needs alittle tweaking.I definitely would limit your shopping till you get some help.Limit your budget to a certain amount Start getting rid of old stock first.But, the shop looks great keeping going all in time you got this.🥰

Maybe open both chests and utilize those empty spaces. That way customers can see inside and not have to take items off that are on top. Great display pc. for the baskets inside also.
