One minute he is ready to displace someone's head over a septic tank ( but he would never ) the next he is holding a little puppy figurine in his hand and saying how sweet it is. A nice tip from many years of moving things- you put an old blanket on the cart, and push the piece of furniture like you did, but when it is leveled with the cart, you pull the blanket, so the piece glides easily and with no scratches on the item. On the stairs- same thing, you pull the blanket. Tadaaam :)

The second floor space has great natural light, tall ceilings and enough space to effectively merchandise your stock. Much more inviting to potential customers, and hopefully, less opportunity for damage and loss than the basement.

I was thinking that customers would probably spend more time in a booth that wasn't humid, smelly, and dark! The upstairs area is very nice.

Thank you, Jocelyn, for showing the hard, physical work that goes into maintaining an antique mall booth! Also, the disappointment involved when you find vandalism, theft, and breakage in your space. I agree with your decision to pull out of that mall. Dealers really need to think about it carefully before they rent a space. It needs frequent and careful tending. Best of luck at the other mall, and with your shop, too.

It seems that was a wise decision to pull out of that mall, especially the basement, where the humidity must be destroying things. If you have to use a dehumidifier again, and your dehumidifier has a hose attachment, see if there's a drain where you can drain the hose. That dehumidifier probably filled up in a few hours.

I've always known how hard Andrew works; don't know how anyone who has watched your videos for very long could miss seeing that. Andrew is always on the go doing something, and I don't see how he does it all and has any time to relax. Hope he feels better very soon. I've been through that type of problem many times and know the suffering. You and Jesse are hard workers, too, made me tired just watching all that ! My daughter and I stayed a night in Carlisle and visited Carlisle Antique Mall on Thursday 8/18. I dare say it might be around the day this video was made. I totally agree about the basement. It was quite humid and smelly! While the mall was nice on the other floors, we much preferred the Bedford Street vibe. I had no idea the town of Carlisle was such a bustling place! We enjoyed many of your other go to spots as well. Thank you for the time and energy you put into making these videos. I enjoy watching your content.

Awe Jessie is an amazing fella, he's a very respectful man and please tell him that I started watching some of his videos on his channel, its so amazing to see and hear them speak from their hearts and to plainly see there knowledge of the lord, especially at there age, young people just have such a struggle in life these days, I think every one is struggling alot these days as well and it just warms my heart to see these young men reaching out to folks, we all can learn so much from him, so keep doing what you do Jessie and you'll bring the lord into other's lives, the lord is great in all that he has done for us all, we must accept him in our hearts and praise him, for his in charge, he loves and cherishes all of us and gave his life for us so believing in him and trusting him with our life's is the least we can do! My mother had a set of the green glass ware and pitcher. Her pitcher was rounded. Have no idea where it ended up at. I think my sister has it. Y'all did an awesome job moving that furniture. Andrew would be proud! I really hope people weren't stealing your merchandise. I guess that's the risk of having a booth in the basement. It's sad enough that pieces get damaged. When using flat carts: if the turning wheels are on the same end as the handle- pull it behind you. If the wheels are on the opposite end, push it. Turning wheels on the leading end. It's easier to steer them that way. Also- get lifting straps, furniture moving glide/slide pads, they help. And for goodness sakes wear actual SHOES, not flip flops! Ya made me nervous! You got it done though!

yep, agree. worked at gw for decade and had to move the big boxes on pallet jacks. It's Always easier to pull vs push. More control.

Great video. Yes I agree.. get out of the basement. Mildew and musty smells most of the time mean mold which gets in your lungs. I know from experience. Be careful.

Bless your heart! Please wear closed toe shoes when moving heavy furniture! One slip and you could break toes and foot bones. It's funny what an impression it makes when you've got a cast on a foot for months, and then have to recover use of it over time. Take care of yourself - your kids look to you to see how things should be done. If you want your children to learn good safety practices, be that safe example.

I found the thefts concerning, opening packages and damaging merchandise without purchase devalues the items...that basement is claustrophobic as well...that whole set-up with the elevator gave me the willies...if things change it is still an option..Bedford street Antiques is great...

My friend and I were at the Carlisle Antique Mall and Bedford Street last Friday (8/26) and visited your booths in both places. I totally agree that the basement booths were too humid. I was horrified that Andrew experienced vandalism and theft in his booth. I remember this happened before in a previous video. I was confused by this video where you showed all of the hard work that you and Jesse put in moving stuff into the stage booth because in the previous day's video's Comment's Section, you said that you had to get all of your things out of the Carlisle Antique Mall by the end of the month. Glad you clarified that at the end of this video. But what happened?! I must say, I like the vibe SO much better at Bedford Street. Best of luck wherever you land, Jocelyn. With your and Andrew's work ethic, you will be just fine. Laurel is growing so fast!❤

I hate when everyone tells you what you should do, and here I go about to make a suggestion! You have so many nice quilts and other textiles, your baskets etc..this will add interest and somewhat of a softer look. Don’t forget to show off some of your lamps!

There are laws in PA that all textiles/fabrics must be sprayed before they’re sold. The spraying takes a specific license and unfortunately, we don’t have one to sell textiles. 🥴
