Well, that was unexpected - I've never had a long format video reach anywhere near 2,000 views, but here we are. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who watched my last video, and if you like skate videos, and silly edits in general, it would be cool if you'd stick around, maybe hit the subscribe button, because there's plenty more where that came from.
I also wanted to address a couple of comments from said video - most people would say "ignore the haters", I don't. I love stuff like this because it means I get to post more stupid crap.

It's funny you should say that, davinci resolve wasn't picking up my mic for some reason so ended up recording the voiceover on my phone 😂 thanks mate appreciate it 👊

Classic! Love the attitude and that's the danger when your video reaches an unexpected audience. People are angry when you make a video that isn't meant specifically for them 😆I am a bit nicer to haters at the moment and just grateful for any viewers but maybe I will change. I did wonder how you edited that sign, I thought you actually put a sticker on it! (idea for your next session there 😆)

You can't please everyone! Tbh I make videos primarily for my own entertainment lol. The way I see it, if 100 people hate it and 1 person gets some value from it, whether it's inspiration, learning something or a laugh at my expense, I've done my job 😁👌 I actually got some stickers made up with my channel logos ages ago but I'm a bit weary of putting them anywhere that could get me into trouble 😂

Thanks bud. Viral videos don't really do much for channel growth, but it's still pretty cool when I'm used to getting 50-100 on a good day 😎

@@SkateboardingWithYerDa it's cool when RU-vid grabs it and runs with it. The best I had was a short that hit 23k in 3 hours. But 3 months after it has yet to click over to 24.

@@AdventuresInSkateboarding same thing happens to me with shorts. Apparently that big spike in viewership is your "seed" audience, so technically our videos aren't really a success until we break out of that one day cycle and get consistent views. Personally, I don't measure success that way, I'm happy to take all the small wins 😉
