Omg the hair chop! Now that’s such a cool thing for a wedding. I think you should’ve! But totally get it. You could’ve planned on packing extensions for your honeymoon if you needed to.

I have similar skin and one thing that helps a lot is doing all skin stuff before hair so you know for sure you don’t have any products/oils on your fingers that might make your skin freak out! Love these videos 🩷 it’s like a little FaceTime!!

Hair washing is such a process. I should start treating it as a spa night to get it done and kinda enjoy it.

Skin help!! Less is more! For hormonal breakouts I recommend: spironolactone (50-150mg). As topicals: sodium sulfamate face wash (AM & PM); alazeic acid (AM); La Posey Triple Repair moisturizer (AM & PM); tretinoin (PM)! For sunscreen: Elta MD tinted 45SPF! I hope this helps! I went from struggling with horrible hormonal acne to now clear skin!

Tea tree oil is all you need to put on your acne. I’ve used it for most my life. As soon as I feel a pimple coming in I put it on like 3 times a day & the pimple never amounts to anything, as long as I get it as soon as I feel it coming in.

Monthly facials and SIMPLE products. Cleanse, serum, moisturizer, spf. You don't need a million products. Also that cut during the wedding is a cute trend but yeah maybe cut it to a cute bob when you come home from the honeymoon instead haha

I had similar skin issues for the longest time. Various hormonal breakouts and I felt my skin was so sensitive to so many products. I HIGHLY recommend the Skin Image brand!!! Specifically the “The Max” facial cleanser and Ormedic bio-peptide cream! Super simple, super effective ♥️🫶🏻

my esthetician always says that acne around the mouth is your body telling you that something you’re eating is breaking you out! a lot of the dairy free/gluten free stuff has additives and gums that break me out, so it’s worth looking into!

You asked about skin care, I see a nurse at a medical facial spa and also purchase my products there. Best advice ever given, do not pick and most important stop touching face, especially touching hair then face or leaning your face in hand when working 😊

Best skincare in my opinion is natural, salicylic acid is good for acne. Should always use a toner because that balances your pH after cleansing. Vitamin C and Bakuchiol are the new retinol too 😍

Wedding photographer here! I had a bride do the hair chop and tbh… most guests didn’t notice 😅the photos were amazing but it was super anticlimactic. I think it’s smart not to do it and enjoy your day!

Here’s my tip: -Wash your face BEFORE your shower -Don’t wear makeup when you’re working out -2 steps routine (cleanser and cream only) ***less is more*** Keep it simple, our face are not supposed to have 25 products to be clear

Removing dirt and makeup from your face first can help to prevent clogging your pores and causing breakouts 😊

I normally oil cleanse my face before, then wash after. Otherwise the shampoo and conditioner from your shower may stay on your face!

I had hair down to my booty and just chopped it to right above my shoulders! It’s so sassy and fun! I say do it! At my length I cut it to I can still put it in a low pony and I can put it in a tiny bun if I have a tiny hair band! It would look sooo stunning on you ❤️

Ya i wouldnt trust tick tock people with your skincare, if anything you should youtube dermatologists and they basically tell you a basic skincare routine but it all depends on your skin. Theres steps and skincare to use only for oily skin. Theres skincare and steps for people with dry skin. Theres steps and particular skincare for combination skin. Skincare all revolves around the type of skin you have. Then theres people with sensitive skin who cant handle most products bc they break out or it irritates their skin in some way. But basically you follow this routine: 1. Cleanse 2. Exfoliate 3. Toner is optional 4. Retinal 5. Moisturize But the products you buy for each step depends on your skin type -oily, dry, combo skin.

Regarding your skin- i would try and wash your hair more often. I know it’s hard with extensions but that way your dirty hair isn’t touching your face at night

Hi Sydney - You asked for input regarding skincare and breakouts. I’ll keep this short. You need to be very careful of the products you use on your hair (shampoo, conditioner, styling, etc). Whatever touches your hair ultimately gets on your face. Also, I’ve noticed that you apply skincare products before washing your hands. Your hands should be clean. Lastly, , I’ve noticed that you touch your hair and your face constantly. Try and stop this habit.
