Welte style orchestrion 

My Welte style orchestrion I have built which has been a 10 year project, recently completed. An excerpt from the Overture to 'The Calif of Baghdad'.
This instrument emulates a style 6 concert orchestrion, with slightly less brass work, but a full pipe range across all notes. A 75 hole tracker bar with 52 playing notes. It is blower driven and has an electric vacuum pump. There are 306 pipes, triangle, snare drum, tympani, bass drum & cymbal. The case is made completely from oak. At 10ft tall, 7 ft wide and 4 ft deep it lives beside its stable mate, a Wilhelm Bruder & Sohne model 79, 48 keyless organ, of 1926 vintage.
