@@CordayDatzTuffLebron's era ain't over yet😂😂 wemby is good though ill give him his credit he's gonna be a problem but lebron is still the face right now
Wemby had to be star strucked in that first game and nervous. He shook Durant's hand as if he was meeting a Prime Minister or something. By the last quarter he was over it. Second game, he was finally dialed in. Cant wait to see him versus the other current greats. Awesome time to be a Spurs fan. I wonder if Duncan talks to him?!!
Kareem Abdul Jabbar actually mentors or mentored him in terms of staying true to wemby's build and game. You can definitely see the similarities between the two and it's amazing ngl
Im now a true believer In Wemby he really has the chance to make all star this year as a rookie and DPOY and his clutch gene is amazing it’s very rare that rookies are comfortable in those situations and close games most rookie would freeze up and not be ready for the moment but Wemby is different he is definitely a generational talent once he figures out the nba and get a more consistent shot with a little more strength it’s over for the league
He was legit bred to dominate the game of basketball. Legendary potential, great attitude, great work ethic on top of the natural gifts. Only thing that can stop the young man is injury and he's putting in the work to prevent that too.
bout to say bro, next match-up was also huge in it's own right. if only u knew, could've merged both of those vids into one. the spurs completely dominated them
What I like about the mistakes he is making is they're fairly straightforward and easy to fix. He won't turn the ball over 4-5 times a game once he gets comfortable with the speed of the game, the refs won't call him on as many "fouls" once he gets established (Rookies never get the respect of the whistles early on, it's part of the initiation to the league) and the very few defensive lapses he's had will start to fade away and the ones he still has from time to time will be erased by his better reaction time.
@@Idealnferno You're really puffing up your chest with your ignorance, eh? Ralph could shoot. Sure, he didn't do 3's, but that's only because that wasn't the trend back then. You don't have to take my word for it. Look it up. I'm done with your lameass knowledge.
Great vid as always. Hope you don’t become one-player-blogger 😊 keep it up, add some other players whenever youre ready. We all are going to appreciate it. ❤ Btw, I came to your channel with Scottie Barnes video.
Wemby just dropped 38 with Devin Booker on the court. Yeah, who gave the lesson properly right. Comparing to Suns to Spurs like it's a fair play and calling it "lesson". LMFAO
So your breakdown is outstanding you definitely are catching the important stuff excellent video on a very hot new player when wembie adds some wait its going to be epic😮❤❤❤❤😊
The anticipation you express for what's to come with Wembie adds an extra layer of excitement, and I can't wait to share more epic moments. Thank you! 😊
all established superstars now look smaller than before Wemby came to nba .... all other teams are trying to find out how to play against him .... as Booker already said .... that never happened before .... so lets sit back and enjoy watching Basketball with the first alien on earth ...
It's clear that Shaq's presence on the court required teams to make strategic adjustments. Now, with Wemby in the mix, it wouldn't be surprising if teams are reevaluating and tweaking their playbooks once again. Adapting to the strengths and playing style of key players is a crucial part of staying competitive in the game.
Actually insane to watch. Teams are going to need to have a custom Wemby playbook or something. EVen if you double team he's got shooters at the premieter like what do you actually do against this build its truly a novel situation .
Absolutely, it's mind-boggling how effective Wemby's gameplay is. It's like trying to solve a puzzle where every move has a countermove. The custom playbook idea sounds intriguing and might be the key to cracking this code.
I completely agree! Weny's talent is truly remarkable, and it's exciting to think about how much he can achieve in the next couple of years. Let's hope he stays healthy and continues to develop that incredible skill set.
I see titles in San Antonio’s future. If he stays happy there and doesn’t get injured, in several years when he really hits his stride, spurs have more than enough draft capital to go for a megastar if the team aren’t contenders already. It’s possible as well Wemby could be unstoppable on his own
San Antonio has proven to be a fantastic environment for player development, and if everything falls into place with San Antonio's continued support, minimal injuries, and Wemby's dedication, we might very well witness some championship titles in the future. The Spurs' strategic draft position and the potential for Wemby to evolve into a true megastar only add to the excitement.
I couldn't agree more - his gameplay truly reflects the greatness of legends like Wilt, Russell, Kareem, and Michael. It's incredible to witness his talent and the way he seamlessly combines the best of the best in one phenomenal performance.
AS long as I've watched basketball, I never knew you could just RIP the ball out of another players hand like that! I thought only when it was being dribbled.
One step from the 3 pt line is just not fair lol. Not gonna lie been watching wemby a lot lately it's the first time in a long time I've seen a real generational talent that's this exciting since the greats.
The way Coach Popovich has nurtured talent and brought out the best in players like Robinson and Duncan is truly remarkable. Sorry for the late reply, Eduardo.
Let's be honest: before wemby, there was no player who could expect to block or disturb KD mid range bullet, because KD's release point is very high and he is very mobile. Wemby is the best thing that could happen to KD... Did you see KD play a bit of agressive defense when facing the Spurs (well, he still needs to do more) ? If only they could face each other each night...
I couldn't agree more! Wemby has indeed brought a whole new dimension to KD's game. The combination of KD's already lethal mid-range shot with Wemby's defensive prowess is truly a game-changer. And you're right, seeing KD play more aggressively on defense, especially against the Spurs, is a sight to behold. Sorry for the late reply.
He already put on weight. Wembanyama was talking about that before he came to the league. Said something like he had been eating 5 times a day for the last 5 years and was focused on strength training. Said something like he was aware of the weight and that he knew or was confident it would come after putting in the work. He's had a whole team with who knows what type of resources from France backing him for a long time now despite being under 20 years of age. They seem to really know wth they are doing. That's a great approach to get stronger. The muscle and as a consequence the weight will get up there eventually. Also a big focus on flexibility to avoid the likelihood of injury that comes with being freakishly tall. Basically like building a basketball player in a lab and trying to do everything possible to create the perfect specimen. Only guy I could think of that compares to that type of potebtial is Wilt.
