I tried this last night and I was blown away. I had to run into the other room and tell my gf to come have some bites of it. its super super savory because of the combo between the onions, mayo sauce, beef, and cheese. the mayo sauce does some seriously heavy lifting in this one.

FYI - French Onion soup does not have mozzarella cheese. It is made with Gruyère which is most similar to Swiss.

They used to have a chipotle hickory sauce a while ago and I had just discovered it and then they stopped having it on the menu. I was so depressed but so glad that mayo is really good. I have something to look forward to. I appreciate your honest reviews!

Had it yesterday and it was very tasty with lots of onions. I agree the seasoned mayo is what makes it super tasty, and I don't normally like mayo on my cheeseburgers. Price was not completely outrageous either.

Usually i dont like mayo. Ordered two of them, one with mayo and one swapped with ketchup. And the mayo one does tastes better. Which is funny because the mayo doesn’t have too strong of a taste, which is a plus for me. And the onions are very overpowering, its flavour lasts in the throat for hours. But i think wendy’s always got the great beef burger.

Just for critique, good call on the cheese. As much as you liked this, it probably would have another notch if provolone or mozza was used. I gotta try this now and maybe ask for no cheese but bring my own room temp provo or mozza to add to it.

I hate to be picky but... French onion soup is supposed to be a Swiss cheese like Emmental, which Wendy's uses on from time to time on their Mushroom & Swiss

Was so stoked to try this out. Had it and they really skimped on the carmelized onions and the sauce. Making for a pretty dry burger. Sad that when it comes to fast food, not all burgers are created equal

Just tried this based on your recommendation and love for it. It was okay nothing great and wouldn't buy it again. I had one bite that was reminiscent of French onion soup. All I could mainly taste was the processed cheese and beef maybe crunchy onion on occasion. Whatever the mayonnaise sauce is you loved so much I couldn't taste at all or they just didn't put enough 4/10 I sure do love the beef on a Wendy's burger though. Otherwise nothing special in my opinion. I'd love to see them bring that pub burger with the pretzel bun back that was spectacular

I'm a serious couponer and I doubt you'll find coupons that specifically include limited-time items at fast food joints. You can use the $4 off $20 from the app for this one though, you'll just need to buy more to make it $20.

$7.29.. that does seem reasonable and just under $10 for the triple. I wished I lived where you do. Here in Vancouver the single is $9.01 and the triple is $14.30.

No US release for this one, but looks pretty good. In your mind, what fast food chain is currently supplying the highest quality napkins? Have you considered rating other parts of the experience like the wrapper/packaging as well? I feel like that is somewhat important in terms of protecting the integrity of the food to it get to you in its most palatable form and would be interested in knowing who you feels does a good job of that.

A local fast food place called triple O's has the best napkins 8.5. I haven't thought about reviewing the other packaging .

@@JFRJesse Have you ever witnessed a 10 napkin? The Wendy's burger had a nice foil lined wrapper, but if you pay a premium price for something and it's in a flimsy piece of paper, I'd consider that a disappointment on some level. Just my .02
